morning guys,

I am close to buying a truck with a color scheme like this picture below. I don't know about the colors tho. what is your guys opinion? do you like it or is it old man two tone colors?

How bout a 3rd option of functional?

I like the 2 tone because it doesn't look as dirty. My truck is white with the tan stripe, and all the dust/dirt/mud off the tires ends up on the tan stripe, so the truck still looks fairly clean because it all blends in.

I'm not a big fan of two tone, and that's not a very attractive two tone combination. It's two boring colors that don't really compliment each other but the tan is so neutral that it doesn't matter. It looks like the truck version of a late '90s "custom" conversion van.

I'd say buy it and enjoy it if it's the truck that you want, because that's the important part. Our opinions don't matter.

I'm opinionated. :D

Everybody's different but that looks like an old man to me. The only two tone that looks kinda sporty to me is white with the grey bottom trim.

Does the truck have the options you want? Is it in good shape? Is it a good deal? Then buy it... color is the last thing I care about when purchasing a used vehicle, except no black.

I found pix of actual truck. It has chrome bumpers and grill. I like a body color grill better but you r right everything else is what I want and more. It have the 5.7. I am ok with less options but this one has laramie package and is a good deal. I want to keep it for a long time and don't want to out grow it. I could always paint tan over myself with black or get macco to repaint all tan the body color.

I have not seen it yet. Going to c it this weekend

1st pic has Rambox and better wheels. Only reason I'd consider a Dodge is for the Rambox bed.

rambox bed sucks.

great idea, but it shrinks the bed to less than 4' wide and a sheet of plywood will no longer fit in there.

the under seat storage is tits though. I wish Toyota had someting similar. I hideawy cooler complete with drain hole...

Where did you get that info?
Everything on the netterwebz says it's a little over 51" wide and that you can fit plywood and sheet rock and 4wheelers in there.

next door neighbor has either a 2014 or a 2015 ram 1500 with the ram box. I helped him sheathe the roof of his pool house a couple weekends back. Maybe lowes overcut their plywood, maybe is truck has been wrecked all I know is we couldnt get those 8 sheets in the bed of his truck.

I found these pix. Looks better with tan painted black. It would b easy

X2 on the ram boxes. Bought mine without them. I didn't measure the beds but just looking at two on the lot they looked different.

I'm not a fan of the two tone, but it's not horrible. It is reminiscent of gramps truck. Nice, but not my style.

You got banned from CarMax? There has to be a good story there.

Not that great unfortunately. Bought a car there, they had creatively hidden a lot of stuff, half ass repaired a lot of stuff with their "warranty", and after 6 months I left the car sitting in their lot with a bad transmission and an engine blowing smoke like a freight train. Sued them and won. I had to sign a paper saying I wouldn't go back to CarMax.

Somehow they actually thought it was a good idea to document all their hack repairs, so I had many pages of proof of their hackerage once I "borrowed" their records on my car.
