You wouldn't lose a sale to somebody over this. The proposal is for anybody to be able to REPLY or PM etc. Just have to pay to be able to POST.
E.g. the only thing you might lose is the ability to BUY stuff from a very select group of people.

And the complaints about NAXJA being "crap" are intimately tied to the high membership fee which is 5x what it is here.

In all honesty I didnt mean to sound sarcastic, I was honestly asking if this is a current problem that anyone perceives.
 
Why not limit the non-donating members to 1 or 2 commerce (excluding the wanted section) posts at a time.

Another thought if funds are wanted for the site might be a donation auction. A member could donate an item and have a silent auction with the money going to th site. Just a thought.
 
I've been around here for a while...met a ton of great people who have helped me out (and continue to do so) along the way. I've referred this site to dozens of people and have bought and sold as well. The only reason there isn't a red diamond beside my name is because I don't have paypal and haven't ever ran into any of the mods on the trail to throw a 5 dollar bill too.

I feel that for those of us who frequent this board that this could be a beneficial idea. However, I also agree with Greg because there are a lot of people here who simply use this as a market place. Without them here, lots of us wouldn't run across deals as mentioned above.

I'm like Greg Slade thou, I hate to miss out on some screamin deal, heck over half of my Jeep wouldn't be where it is if I hadn't simply got lucky on deals i found, seriously only reason I was able to piece it together on my budget in college was cause the big man upstairs musta been lookin out for me with el cheapo deals I blindly stumbled across and then ran faster than anyone else to get to first . . . . :shaking::lol:
