Not familiar with application of carbon metallic on street stuff. Only worried about basic stuff, long life...semi metallic. Low temp grip...organic (asbestos). depending on whether it was one of my hot rods or the grocery getter!

I believe our racing brake pads are carbon metallic. They are sold in many different hardnesses. I'm gonna suppose the carbon metallic compound is best for very high temp, and good wear

BTW...good note there. Our trouble in Racing is there are TOO many engineers that have NEVER been around any kind of machinery. Never held a wrench! And no mechanical inclination, what so ever. They are only engineers cuz daddy sent em off to college to be something, so he wouldnt have to support em!
