John, I see you are continuing to be childish.

He left before he had a chance to be kicked out for cursing out another member of the group for no reason. The trails he rode were Falls Dam, part of Wolf's Den, Dutch John, and the easier part of Rocky Mountain Loop (the part without the rocky hill climb). He is a person who will continue to ask advice but then completely disregard it.
 
Apparently lou has felt the need to "Defend" in some way and follow me here the guy who attacked me verbally in the group and in pvt messages for no reason never talked to or met this guy before that came out of nowhere out of a desire to prove that fullsize vehicles don't belong on the trails , these two men one is Lou and the other are the #1 reason why families stay away from this hobby

John, I never defended anyone. The screenshots have all been emailed already. If you want to keep acting childish, go right ahead but you talking trash about me and my group wont go without a response from me. Before you acted like this, I and the other group members were very supportive of you. Dont forget that me and another group member are who actually took you around the easier stuff at URE. Also, I didnt have to follow you here, there is a button that shows new posts in the forum.

John said that he was gonna email the president of his club and tell him what a jerkface I am for not sticking up for him and his family (although no one ever attacked him or his family) so in response I took the screenshots of him cursing the other member out as well as his cursing me out and emailed the president of his group myself as well. I know this is all very trivial, but I tried to resolve this the adult way but John wants to be a child about it, so I am dealing with him like one.
 
Joe, I am sorry that I responded to him in here. I just didnt like the fact that he was spreading lies about my group. I will keep it off the Carolina Trail Blazers section though from here on out.
 
I pulled all this out of a club specific section discussion.

I have too much respect for all the CTB members (despite not being a member myself) to watch this spill there.

Yall fight all you want. Attack each other and we will watch and eat popcorn but lets not bring drama to them without their invitation.

Nobody was messing with CTB. It was about this guy John Oconnell. The guy who just bought a dodge power wagon and wants everyone to give him advice so he can shoot it down but then ask the same question over and over. Also he wants Friends of Uwharrie to somehow make the forestry service taylor make a trail for his rig that will be wide and mild enough not to damage it.

Yes he asked for a more tame trail for the ohv system and also wanted fou to log the place so he could fit his mess.
 
He also wanted to take back his paypal payment to CTB for membership application because he felt that they were taking too long to respond to his application. i wish that me and the other members of my group wouldnt have talked him out of doing that now that way CTB could have seen first hand what kind of jerk he really is.

I seriously wanted no part of this schoolyard pissing match... but I have to say, James is the hardest working man, father, husband, role model, friend, that anyone could ever ask for. He volunteers countless hours to URE, CTB, UORTC, SFWDA, his church, community and to NC4x4......he works overtime, weekends, and doesn't goof off on the Internet at work to process applications. Hearing that, really upsets me

He had apparently applied on Thursday (june 2nd) of last week but hadnt heard back from them as of yesterday (june 6th) and was growing impatient because it had been 5 calendar days. I told him that he should give it a few business days and at least call them before becoming so impatient.

This damn near makes me want to go find my response to his original inquiry. I believe some thought I was unnecessarily asshole-ish.

Only thing I'll say...I've twice been in a group at UNF that had a deuce and a half in with us. A powerwagon will fit everything there. Body damage? Have to decide if you want to play hard, or cruise the mall. Your choice.
