DPG Feb 26th 2nd Annual Efird Mem Ride and Freestyle Comp

What time in the morning can we get in there and wheel? I know you said 9-10am, but I'd just like to know if people can show up earlier than that.

HAHAHA well I hate to say it but I agree with Miles,that thing looks to pretty with alot of money dumped into it(westcoast thing) to be crawling at DPG without any tubing! Wish i could be there to watch!:lol:

You're absolutely right. It wasn't built to win rockcrawling competitions. It's my daily driver that I use for fund raising to support our troops. It was built more then I originally planned because many other people and companies got involved and pushed it. The good thing is now I have a solid axle H3 that is more capable than originally. That's what this rig was built for when you remove the weapons.

By the way. I was raised in Texas. The west coast thing was temporary. That's why I moved out of there.

Thanks Rick. I actually agree with them. I left Cali because I didn't want to raise my child in a place where people don't know how to say hello. When I went to buy my Hummer I couldn't get one that had a ton of chrome. I finally had to custom order it from the factory so it wouldn't have all this useless bling. Rig is still a work in progress and the point of coming out to try it is to see what needs to be improved. Can't wait to get there.
 
ricky if you could hold out till like two or so lol and bring those mufflers up there i have the cash for you!!! if either of us can remember haha
 
Hey Ricky, ya know if any body will have a nitrogen fill kit out there? I'd need to let some out for the trails, but also need a way to put some back in for when I leave. Working on my front driveshaft now to try & make it & not be just a spectator. Let me know what ya find out (or if any body else knows chime in)? Thanks.

Just giving you a hard time man! When you said westcoast though I was like dang where does all there money come from to build rigs like this!?lol!(thats why I said must be a westcoast thing). Anyways thats awesome you built thi rig for military fundraisers! Im actually out in Afghanistan on my 3rd tour right now but will be home next month hope you guys have a great time!

No worries. I wasn't wimpering. Just wanted people to understand how this came about to be :) Thanks for protecting our freedom to go hit the trails.

getting closer by the minute.. can't wait..
 
cgm147 brings up a good question. The later in the day would be better(say 4:00). Maybe more donations could be collected and so on. Any given time would be good.

I mean, idk, don't show up too early It is a Sat Morn, I'm sure some of the folks round there will be sleeping in a bit. Lets just say 8, that way I'll plan on being there by then, yea 8am.

Give Chris (marsfab) a shout, I know George said he was coming I don't have George's number but I know Chris can get you up with him, you might could talk him into bringin his nitro setup out if you toss him a couple bucks or something, IDK, how much the stuff costs never had to personally buy it. But yea, give Chris a shout.

You talkin bout for the freestyle comp and rig presentation? Only issue is I don't wanna do it too late so people can still wheel after we're done some more before dark, plus I have to do a photoshoot and also film a rig of the week segment on it and need good lighting.
 
We have a group caravanning from Charlotte, looking forward to it!
 
We are convoying out of Greensboro, meeting up at the Carolinas Diner off Regional Rd at 9 am if anyone wants to join us.
