Alright so we have the get together planned for the most part. I’m on to my next event!
I’ve already discussed this with The Ranch, where this will be next year, date TBD.
Much like the shitbox challenge at Gulches, I’m picturing either a 33” or 35” tire limit. No motor swaps, mostly street based vehicle. Seat belts and fire extinguisher required. Fastest time wins. Whoever puts in the best show gets awarded too.
Also to keep it interesting, have a pro class where anything goes, but the main event is really centered around someone bringing a POS XJ or similar and thrashing on it. Course will be set where it could be done even on 31s if you’re willing to beat in it
It would be very spectator friendly, lots of room for folks to get there and watch.
FYI if you don’t already know, The Ranch has cabins, RV camping with power and water, tent camping and showers, LOTS of parking, a restaurant/bar, arena where they usually have a band for these type of events, playground for the kids and more.
There would be a pot for the winners with most of the proceeds from spectator traffic and such would be donated to an Autism non profit, of which I am still researching which would be best to support and use funds appropriately.
None of this is set in stone, this thread is for discussion. Who would be interested? What rules/requirements should we have? Will you travel to Canvas, WV to watch and/ or compete? For the record I imagine this would be a small amount of money winnings and mostly for bragging rights, entertainment and a little cash.
