Just wanted to give a shout out to all you riders to let you know that Tellico is up and running every weekend, Friday thru Sunday. We have the makings of what will be some nasty hills! We have also put a bounty on one of the hills for $ 5000.00 We are currently working out the details for this challenge! It has been dubbed as SCHOOLBUS'S GRANDADDY. There are currently about 40 miles of trails now and that # should double by the end of summer. I look forward to your feedback to implement your ideas to make this a premier riding ,camping and trout fishing destination.

Awesome!
I missed the intro ride the other week....website? Or site address etc.?

just checked out the website...damn good prices ...damn good prices. Looks like Nellie and I will be exploring a new area. I know this is being pushed as a hard wheeling area but for some of us who rather get out and drive long distances with some challenges thrown in,how are your trails set up for us on smaller rigs? Distances on the easier stuff? Bypasses on harder areas?I used to cruise Callalente like it was my back yard so I'm hoping I can do the same here.

Will there be a preferred place to stay if you don't want to camp like a hotel or something near by to accommodate truck and trailer parking?

Its murphy man. There aint a lot up that way.
There is a best western and a hampton last time I was there but IIRc neither had much for parking...like probably park at the grocery store and walk a block..

BTW... Id make dang sure I told every business owner in town why you are there. Make sure they see the financial impact.

There are tons ofn places to stay up there I'm up there all the time on bikes robbinville and murffy are both close most if the places up there servive on motorcycles so they should be very open to offloading in generAl

Curious about this as well. Thinking of getting a JK Rubi since I need room for a car seat and have gotten more into long distance with optional challenges type Wheeling.

Sounds good, I hope this is a trend for private ORV trails with regular access opening up. I did the last Big Creek run which was cool, add this if it pans out and things will be pointing up in NC. Doing URE/Daniel, while good, will be even better if it is not the only show in town. This latest place sounds good, ride the trails, catch a trout, shoot a bear, sounds like a full day's worth of activities.

So, just putting this out there... Does anyone want to check this place out this Saturday? I can most likely squeeze in a day or riding.

But first...look behind the store and find Eric Rudolph dumpster diving. Hey... crazier things have happened.

That was in Robbinsville not Murphy....geeez :)

I used to own a piece of property (like 1.5 acres no wheeling) in Robbinsville...I love that little town

@tellicogregg i know you guys are just starting out but could you give us all a break down of the trails how many easy moderate and hard trails there are?
I have rode there twice, once in a buggy once in a rzr most trails are doable with a stock rig, might need rear locker. the bowl area is mostly for hardcore rigs. the bounty hill is undoable in my opinion, there is a spring head right at the bottom of it and no way to get a run at it. great trails for utv. some really nice views from up on top and some beautiful waterfalls.
