Durhamtown tellico

I have rode there twice, once in a buggy once in a rzr most trails are doable with a stock rig, might need rear locker. the bowl area is mostly for hardcore rigs. the bounty hill is undoable in my opinion, there is a spring head right at the bottom of it and no way to get a run at it. great trails for utv. some really nice views from up on top and some beautiful waterfalls.
thank you sir i will be planning a trip there soon now.

I'll be planning a trip for this year for my wife and me. She never got the chance to ride tellico and throws it in my face from time to time.

Ill be trying to get up there later on in the year.

Hi, I just wanted to thank everyone for coming out to Durhamtown Tellico this weekend! We had a huge turnout & lots of excited riders! Thank you for all of your support, and those of you that haven't been here, come check us out|!

I was up there this last weekend. The trails I'd rate as easy right now with 33-35" tires. You could take a stock wrangler though just about the entire park. The cabins looked nice. They said they were planning on getting a compressor onsite which would be great since town is far away.

The views are amazing, the trails will hopefully get a bit rougher with additional traffic to expose more rocks and increase the difficulty. You can see the work in progress on the trails and amenities so as time goes on it should keep getting better.

There's also a great waffle place next to the days inn for breakfast. Highly recommend that. Dinner at Chevelles is pretty good too.

Thats the way Harlan was at first.I knew a guy who took his wifes Honda up to can opener to watch one year at the April fools ride. Its been a while since Ive been to harlan but the last time it was so wash boarded and rutted you about had to have 4wd in some places.

Gregg isn't working with Durhamtown any longer. I think they are working on new trails but it seems to me they are gearing for stock rigs and don't understand the concept that it takes fun, nasty climbs to bring in the crowds. Just my .02. Hopefully it gets better we need more parks in the south.

There are new trails. Was out there this weekend and meet the guy who is building them. Chuck was his name. He said he use to own Tellico Cabins. This place has a ton of potential.

Thanks! Chuck would know what we want, that's good news. How much wheeling did you do there? I'm wanting to go soon.

Yea he was a nice guy. He watched us beat on the entrance to Gun Barrel entrance for A little while. I was there scouting looking to see if there was enough to try and get NAXJA to do it's Fall Flog there. So we were in explore mode. I saw enough to make me want to go back and push for them to do that event there this year.
