It's been a busy first month moving into the new Dynamite shop.

Sara Clemons has requested a few modifications to her Jeep. A brand new custom built, mig welded roll cage. New Gen-right fuel cell. Dynatrac 44's front and rear, along with spring and shock relocation. The design stage on the new cage is coming to an end with only a few minor adjustments in the roof, to allow better radio and CB mounts. All this has now led to some re-engineering of the under body skid plate area.

Glad you listened to me....

But I see something that defintiely shouldnt be there...its only mythical at this point.

Man glad to see this business starting to take off for you, as someone who is trying to finish school and help start a business i know what its like. Just keep moving forward and when you get shot down get back up and shoot back

David, don't recycle the tie rod off the D30. I'm going to resell that to some sucker on here. ;)

It's actually a pretty nice piece that Andy Carter built.

Are you talking about me or Shawn, lol. That mythical creature is going to have some new powers soon enough.... :huggy:

Thanks man, we've never been much on giving up on anything.

There is 10 or 12 complete axle housings over there in a pile. Doesn't look like they are going anywhere. I need to build a metal rack for all that stuff.

Removable transmission / transfer case cross member. It is mounted using the stock rubber mount. This will give the Jeep more ground clearance by lifting the transfer case up to almost touching the tub. It also allows the drive train to be mounted seperate from the skid plate that will be beating on the rocks.

Now the skid plate can be built, and the 4wd shifter linkage can be modified to fit the bottom of the tub.

Dynatrac 44's sheesh could of had some baller ECGS axles...........

Hmm... Well, if you hadn't sold Ali a pair of baller ECGS 60s, he wouldn't have given me a great deal on a pair of Dynatrac JK 44s. You have only yourself to blame. :flipoff2:

On a serious note, you guys were top of the list until Ali called.

That is the prettiest brake I have ever seen.

Any idea what the difference in belly clearance is?

I don't have a college degree in anything but off road racing, but I am pretty curious if your signature applies to the laws of metal fabrication.... :D

Looks like 1.25 inches more clearance for sure. At the bottom flat on the skid plate. Looking at ways to beef it up right now.

Right On! Sometimes you have to modify your brake & tube benders. My Boss Still hasn't bought a vise, & only has some hand tools. Recently we were trying to straighten a rod, that's welder to a flat bar. It was pretty twisted up! After the Boss tried for 15 minutes, & no way to hold it, he gave up. Were working on a dump truck, with the bed raised. I took the piece, walked around the truck, & spotted a Slot, on the hoist frame. Stuck the flat bar end in it & went to work with a BF Hammer! Got it good enough to reuse, & fits better than when it was straight! Boss like that, & I told him he ought to see what I could do with a vise!:D

That makes sense glad they went to you guys seemed to be a nice set of axles. Of course the purpose of doing the axles for Fourwheeler was to sell more axles..........I guess that backfired. Jeep is gonna be sweet when its finished up.

It's just opportunity cost. You lost one sale in order to make a bunch more.
