Eat at the table... Manners, life lessons, family bonds and many other things are accomplished by eating at the table.
I am also very thankful that we can do this as much as possible. Here is tonight.

I can see it. Except I'm not standing in the woods holding a mysterious plant. The picture on the drinking glass looks like @XJsavage avatar! Lol

We just recently(6mo) had a baby and since then we try and eat at the table. Hell we had to go buy one, but as our family grows we will have a dinner at the table every night like I did growing up. And you can bet that there won't be any electronics at the table including mine that rings all night for work. I'm in the younger generation (I'm 28) but hate how my generation acts I'm more like a 40yr old. When we go to URE for the weekend I'm the only one that hates there is service there now and leave my phone in my bag the whole weekend.

it was probably more the story about her dad being a da and getting stuck...Well, we all sat at the table last night. It was good for the most part. No stories were read and no electronics were allowed. I think it went smooth because the wee one got her ass busted earlier in the grocery store for throwing something at a lady after she said she was cute.
We've eaten at the table before but not with consistency. When the new baby arrives we'll be at the table all the time because it's just easier that way. I'm not going to feed a baby in the living room. We started at the table with our little girl too. We just drifted away over the past couple of years. Time will tell. Like I said I think it went smooth because she got into trouble earlier. The real test will be when everything is good and she has to sit there with us.
if it keeps her from bitching I'm ok with telling a story or two. last night I told her the one about the time a guy I worked with took a picture of a water moccasin up and close and personal. there wasn't much to it but it kept her engaged.it was probably more the story about her dad being a da and getting stuck...
