EFIRD'S Turbo Toyota Build

Yotahauler is one of the friends of Jonathan who passed away and he is one of the guys building the truck. When he was at the house a few weeks ago, I asked about the truck. He said they need a few more parts and I'm sure the guys are a little finacially spent. So hopefully this spring we can get all the guys building the truck and alot of us can get together and do a charity ride to raise some money to help out with the last remaining parts they need. Andrew (yotahauler) was up for the idea when we spoke about it. So when wheelin season opens back up I'll get with Efird's group of friends and we can all make something happen to help out.

Thanks to all willing to help out.We haven't worked on it in a while ,but hope to get back on it soon. We still have alittle tube work left, then its time for steering.I know his parents and sister would love to see his truck finished.
 
We have the back half of the tube work done now and started on the front,just haven't posted any pics of that,sorry

I dont know anyone that runs dub's on a yota. But I hear that Universal team is pretty good.Maybe you could get me some 22's for my yota.Well I better keep my 15's, you got that big motor to turn them big wheels over

im down to help out any way i can...when i come home...just post up when yall need help or are havin a cherity thing and il see if i can come home...hopefully in a month or so i will be stationed in va so i will just be able to drive there...i live right in concord off church street so the universal guys are well known around my parts haha

We got some of the front tube work done and the front air shocks mounted. ill put pics up soon
 
Hey Andrew, give me a hollar if ya'll need a hand. I can be there in 5 minutes and would be happy to help anytime. Plus I need to learn how to bend some tube. Let me know.

Got to see the truck tonight, it's way more than what the pics show. Truely a badazz beast, thanks to the guys for letting me lend a hand. Can't wait to help out some more, and I'm definitely ready for the DPG ride. This is all for a very good cause.
 
Sorry I had to bail out on ya'll, kids were fighting, dogs were fighting. House goes all to crap when I leave. I'll see ya'll Thursday night, I've got to drop off two motors and I'll be there. Sorry for the crappy grinding wheels, yes the came from Harbor Freight. C ya'll Thursday.
 
Garrett(blue buggy) got all the link mounts welded up tonight so we will be able to bring it to the play ground for all to see

26th!! We need to get thing out on display at Mooresville Fri Night to drum up some more advertising to the crowd to draw more folks out to DPG the next day for the Memorial Ride. Also any buggies/trucks we can put out there too and stack em/flex em on each other will help, bring whatever you can we'll put em all out there on display, and I'll announce the bisness out of the Benefit DPG ride on the mic, if we have any flyers left over we'll give em out.

Puttin out 1000 picture flyers at Monster Jam Sat night, Daniel from Straight Diesel got us the hookup on that :smokin:
 
Got the inner cooler mounted,the bed side skins cut off the old bed and started mounting them today.
