Just wondering why choose Uwharrie as the place for some hardcore east coast action for the mag?

If the editor is who I think it is, UNF is the hardest thing he's ever done...:flipoff2: (Flexing on some house pylons isn't really hardcore, now is it)

there is another thread in past events or something i think that has that dodge and another really big dodge dually in it and has a lot of pics

Next time your down look me up. I'll take you by the guys house to check out the dodge.
Thanks man, ill hopefully be back this weekend so ill get up with you.

Id like to look into getting my dodge done, ( i have been trying to sell it but i start a new job monday and i think ill keep it now) i would like to talk to the guys at cape fear and kick around some ideas with them. Im gonna build my truck as a "triple purpose" rig (some DD, some fourwheeling and a lot of tractor pulling) and it looks like cape fear does some killer work.

If you want to build the Dodge you need to talk to Bobby over at Downes Performance. He's forgotten more about a Cummins motor than most people will ever know

They do some cool stuff, but if for some reason you don't get anything done there, give me a call and we can talk your options

Not to get off track, but in that issue was some real NC history with the 2 ton and up axles.
There was Kirk Dabney's Camaro monster truck which was built at his shop in I think Fayettenam, NC (saw it pull Galloways' log hog straight back at the tug of war when the log hog was sport'n dual 44 ground hawgs all around)
Gary Porters Carolina Crusher built in Wadesboro, NC (remember it at the old mudbogs in URE and Metrolina Fairgrounds)
Rocky's big CJ, used to sit on cars on I think South Blvd in Charlotte, NC (saw him last at Muscle Motorsports a long time ago)
And of course the most famous- Dennis Anderson and Grave Digger from the Outer Banks, NC
There is a few others but these guys were first in line.
I think that NC had a majority of very creative people who were doing this back in the early 80's, makes me think how slow it took everyone else to gravitate towards the bigger axles now when they were doing it 25 yrs ago without the internet!

im a subscriber so yes i seen it. congrats .

you sure it wasn't your sack that shrunk?

and perhaps by "shrunk" you meant "contract"

and perhaps that's b/c jenny was pleasuring you while you were reading this thread?

;)

Where are these so called full widths 3 years later?
Jeep Dana 44s worked better on my budget, at least I came through with the 37s, lol. If we are after the whole A-hole theme this morning, I drove my Jeep to work this morning. How are those full widths treating you?
