Evolution of an early bronco.

It would be nice. Forgot to mention thanks to tim/vice4x4 for hacking off the frame and setting up the links/link mounts for me. Saved a whole lot of time.

i might have missed it, but are you running 7/8 heims for the uppers? What is your projected weight?

Yeah, 7/8s for the uppers, 1.25 for the lowers. That's a 3/4" heim laying there in the picture for reference. Weight, I'm not sure anymore since I've changed so much. Was surprised to see how "light" the 60 was with the truss/ram/wheels and ltb's at just 490 lbs. There won't be much body left, but there's plenty of 3/16" and 1/4" plate and gussets everywhere as well as .120 wall tube. I'd be really happy if it's under 5k lbs race ready.

You need to sell me that horrible vacuum booster and go with a hydroboost set-up. I would force myself to install it on my '72 Bronco...

This looks like it's gonna be nice. Subscribed!

I'm running wilwood manual masters now but have a hydroboost setup and also that vacuum setup that I'd sell. Its actually a never used master and booster, just been sitting a couple years.

Got some more done tonight. Lots of gusseting and hard to weld things. bumpstops tacked in place as well. Driver side upper isn't connected so it's leaning. Pretty happy so far.

Send me a PM and let me know how much for the vacuum assist set-up.

Did you take the bodylift off or leave it on? Is your hood gonna clear the motor now?

Cutting the rear fenders off, narrowing the middle of the body 8" and the front and rear ~12". Also, jeff not helping.

Did you drill out those body mount bolts yet? Didn't think so...

Finally got some work done. I've gone back and redone it a couple times now but this is what the cage is going to be for now. Mostly 1.75x .120 DOM. Still piling up parts for it as well.
Maybe I'll be able to stay motivated.

The rear is well over a foot narrower at the back and 3" on each side at the front. The front fenders are about 3" narrower at the door jamb too then a foot up front. Not much bronco left anymore.
