Excavator bucket

Driving through mobile al and passed this place and thought about your thumb. I'd say it came from them. Tractor & Equipment Company | United States
They are a Leeboy dealer. I have had to drive down there several times in the last 1.5 years to put on a training school on Leeboy equipment.

There is a Hydraulics shop in Concord. They can special order any seal or have it specifically made. Yours will be a common seal kit and they can help you. Really good bunch of guys..

* EDIT.

just realized your not close to Concord..:shaking:

Bumping this back up with another hydraulics question.

After fixing my leaky thumb cylinder I have found yet another leak. Something is leaking and getting the valve block considerably wet. I didn't notice it until I parked it where the fluid was running onto one of the tracks. Seems to be a constant leak but not a gusher by any means.

Everything is so wet and it is on my land far from a water source to be able to try and pressure wash it to find the source.

Any recommendations on what might take all that hydraulic oil off the valves and hoses so I can try to pinpoint the source?

Valve block seems to be held together by several long bolts or threaded rods and I'm assuming a lot of orings between each valve. Do I need to replace every single oring and/or seal between all the valves if I find it is leaking between 2 of them or is it common practice to just replace the ones that are leaking?

Like ^ said, get a few cans of brake parts cleaner and go to town. Before replacing anything, check and make sure all the bolts are tight and hoses are tight.

Be sure to stay off any electrical connectors with the pressure washer. Pressure washing those will cause havok and is sometimes very difficult to diagnose if water gets in to the connectors.

I have a friend in Thomasville who works on this stuff if you need a shop.

I wouldn't even attempt pulling the valve block apart in the field, just let it drip for a few weeks til you get the chance to clean it up and go through it all at the shop.
No shop currently, using excavator to clear the land to build the shop.

Plan was to take the valve block to work for repair if I found the leak was in it and not a hose.

I'll also share here. Zach Hughes 336 239 3578 Steel and Roots. Tell him Richard Queen referred you, he won't know who RQ is! lol He also has a big CNC table but does big welding on buckets and trucks, can do hydraulics, and is building skid steer attachments for sale and rent.

I know who this guy is now. This is the dude that plumbed Bobby's buggy. I knew he was down in my neck of the woods a month or so ago getting it done. Now that I scroll through his FB page I made the connection w/ Bobby's buggy

Yes his father, Boyd Hughes, and Bobby, and my wife Sandra go way back. That's how we know Bobby. Zach is smart and talented as hell, you should see some of his work.

I purchased some h&l 240sp teeth for my bucket after getting overwhelmed trying to find replacement ones for it. I had no idea there were so many different tooth mounting systems and sizes.

The gentleman at H&L was extremely nice and helpful and I definitely recommend giving them a shout if you need help identifying what you need.

So my teeth are roughly 5 inches apart and use flex pins. Any suggestions on knocking them out and the new ones in. Don't seem to have enough room to use a punch but I'm not familiar with how hard these will be.

A quick Google showed a h&l flex pin removal tool.

Looks kinda sucky. Mine are vertical so they are easy. Maybe a Porta power and a prayer? I would probably end up using a cutoff punch and piece of threaded rod and heat.

Yes, it states that it is for the pin series one size smaller. I had my wife reach out to them today to see if it would work. Haven't talked to her yet.
