@Yay!Gurrr Called a bud in TN that knows his Ford shat... asking if he was sitting on one. He response [paraphrased]:

- Aside from OBS F-450s, which had D80s, but with a smaller 10-lug pattern than your "new" front axle...
- There are NO factory '05+ "F-450 D80s", as the 450/550 trucks all went to Dana S110/1S35

He said:
- what you're looking for is the '05+ E-450/550 which DID come factory with a D80 & big 10-lug pattern like your new front beam axle (guesstimated might be $5K due to rarity, unless you find a yard full of vans)
- or an S110/S135 to get the big 10-lug pattern and be prepared to rebuild the spring perches to fit the "van width" (which is all over the place vs std truck/CC frame widths) *much more reasonably priced than the above*

1999 and up 450 and 550 have different housings the 450 the housing has round tubes and the 550 housing has square tubes at least the trucks i have has the best i can remember.

S110 was found in Kodiak/Topkick and plenty of the bigger U-Haul trucks, medium duty trucks and buses. Hope that helps your search.
Kodiak Dynasty is a FB group with lots of parts for the Kodiak trucks.

Well I was able to get one, and in fact it is 75.5” which will help me greatly.
I get f550 one
S110 = ~.35 wall and housing but the other one
S130 = ~.39 wall, this amount to ~20# total difference
And of course it's stronger
.
gears 4.88
flat round input on pinion
.
what's next .... nothing

I've been into a couple of those. The carrier bearings can come apart under heavy abuse. I'd take a good look at the drain/fill plugs for any evidence of accelerated wear (beyond normal on the magnet).
