Fabcart Build Thread

Finally am "done" with the main cart. Still need to add a handle, and secure the toolbox to the bottom frame.

No shit, matt stopped by my shop, saw my $200 vulcan welding cart from harbor freight and said--and I promise this is true-- " for $300 and 4 weeks I can make the same thing". And here it is, well done. Glad no square bodies were harmed

At some point in the past year I added a handle to this thing. I still have not done anything for cable management. 2 changes I would make in retrospect:
1. Buy a cabinet with a better drawer latching system. These tend to creep open as I roll it around. Easily solved by just leaving the key in and a 1/4 turn to lock it if I'm gonna roll it anywhere.
2. Bigger casters (and rubberized). I used these because they were on the box and seemed fine. Would be nice if they were a bit bigger, and the plastic casters are so loud on concrete. Most of my other rolling stock has rubber (or better plastic) casters and I've become spoiled. Also, with how heavy this thing is, it takes more effort for a plastic caster to get going if there is any piece of metal chip/welding wire/gravel in front of it because it has to climb over instead of conforming around.

I used an old craftsman box and the drawers always slide open
