Sorry folks, been in Atlanta.

Next workday is coming up fast and we have a bunch of stuff I would like to see get done but waiting on a list from Terry. I do know it will involve dragging more rails and stuff like that.

It will be a good weekend weather wise though from the looks of it.

Thanks

Sorry guys,
I am not going to be able to make it to this one.
Did some work to my trailer guard rail hauler but work is wide open.

I have already put in for vacation the Friday before the March work weekend and have some good plans and parts ready to make the trailer better. Just need a little more angle iron and "time"

I am going to miss being there.
Good luck, be safe and I plan to see everyone in March!

Unfortunately I will not make this one. I need to get up with you and @snappy and find out what is needed. NAXJA is asking what FOU and Uwharrie is in need of.

Sure. Just show up. All volunteers are welcome. Hunt Camp at 9:00 am has been the usual meeting place. Bring your gear, work gloves, a lunch box, etc. Weather should be good this weekend, no rain in the forecast, but a cool morning.

Are we hauling and installing rail only? Should I bring a saw?

Hi Everyone – This is a reminder about the workday we have planned for this Saturday, February 20th. We’ll be continuing the installation of guardrail at the intersection of Dickey Bell Trail & Rocky Mountain Loop Trail. We’ll also continue to haul guardrail and posts up to the different areas on Daniel Trail where we’ll need to install it at the March 19th & 20th workday. If we have good weather and our timing works out where we can install some of the Daniel Trail guardrail this weekend we’ll get started on that.

Joel & I will meet you at the Uwharrie Hunt camp at 9 am. We’ll then determine which groups are going to work on Dickey Bell/Rocky Mt Loop and which will be hauling guardrail onto Daniel Trail. We’ll then head to Dutch John Trailhead and get onto the trails there and get started. Joel will work with the group working on the Dickey Bell / Rocky Mt Loop site & I will be working with the Daniel Trail group.

Please bring appropriate work gloves, work boots, clothes & your food and water. Bring tools for hauling guardrail & posts and for installing guardrail & posts. It’s supposed to be beautiful weather which will make up for the past cold days we’ve been out there. If anyone has a trail trailer or truck that can go up Daniel loaded with posts please bring it along. We’ll also need vehicles and draggers to drag the guardrail up from the trailhead. I appreciate you all coming out again to help us on the trails. See you this Saturday.

Bye - Terry

I am unsure of the whole goal for this workday but right now I see no need for a saw this weekend. Polesaw yes if people have them. My main goal for this weekend is to get all supplies in place for the march work weekend. I have another workday in regards to that also coming up prior in March.

OK. I plan to be there tomorrow.

Carolina Broncos getting some work done on Dutch. Big mudhole/lake is no more- for a little while.

We had to repair a guardrail damaged by a fallen tree and have been cutting back scrub brush from the trail corridor. Getting it done!

Pretty good turn out for it. Got a lot done and getting closer to being ready for the March workday weekend.

Thanks everyone.
