^Ha ha ha Chuck. Thats a beautiful weld!

It is the same trick I use with my PVC cages. Make sure you fill the fence posts with concrete. I mean, bridges are strong, right?

I'd rather be wrapped in hot dogs than some of that crap! I mean there's germs in chewing gum welds! And also you need a tetnas shot to just look at that s_ _ t. And their buddy said "looks great, here" LOL

Be sure to stop regularly and take deep breaths. Welding galvanized steel will put hair on your chest.

x2

I've never done it myself, but my old boss said he did once, and it fawked him up. Apparently the fumes put off from the galvanized coating burning is very bad for you.

I would just make it out of the gas pipe from Lowes. That way you can just join it together using the threaded ends rather than having to do welds. It's a good way to save on equipment costs.

(I actually saw a Wrangler with a brush guard made out of this one time. He even did the headlight surrounds...More 90 degree elbows than you could shake a stick at.) :)

if you use copper pipe you can just solder it together. a lot easier than welding.

^^Do you think he used trick or treated wood?

Dont forget to re-coat the welded galv. pipe joints with some rattle-can chrome, it helps realign the grain structure of the weld
