Sweet! even the last one where you're doing a "controlled" test on the cage! Glad to see it's out and about! Find out what needs work?

Wow another nice buggy JIM. Way to go. Looks great

I was wondering about something though. You have made a bunch of kool 2 seater buggy's in the past few years. You should make yourself one soon too. But I was wondering if you have any intention of making or showing us any ideas you have of a JIM production 3 or 4 seater. I know a few guys who might buy one from you if you can catch their eye. I would like to see a 3 or 4 seater buggy soon. pics, diagrams, sketches, anything.

well yes i remeber that one but its in pieces

And i dont know about little seats or bench seats. I want to see a 3 or 4 full size grown man seated buggy. Jim has great ideas and does good work. I want to see what he could come up with. A finished product is much easier to sell than one thats not done yet. Thanks.

bring him about 40k-45k and I bet he'll build you one.

But there won't be much difference if you extend it another 6-12 inches to fit a full sized seat. Actually, Jim was pretty sure a bench seat would fit better. So the design is there, its just minor mods and once he has an order for one he will build it.

The cool thing for Jim is he has jobs lined up, even in the crappy market we currently have. So no need to spend his money to make something for you to see....

Looks good Mark, that thing makes the playground look small!

Ok well we will see whats in the works.

I really like the looks of that buggy. Just not really feeling those colors. Some colors look better on some people and others don't. I do not really match up with red or orange or yellow. Nice buggy. How much does it weigh and how tall is it?

HOLY $HIT 40 to 45K. Thats insane. Who in the hell has that kinda money? How do you get that kinda money together tro build a buggy. Do people on this board really have that much tied into their buggy's or does that include a srious chunk of change for the labor part? Does it really cost that much to build the average buggy? Or is that a comp buggy price tag??
Well where to start..lets see... 40-45 is cheap for a turn key buggy, call Blue Torch or Twisted Customs...expect 55k-70k depending on what you want, hell call PSC he'll go over 100k for some of his. Next question, yes, people have that kind of money (remember your Rubi, what did you have in that including the sticker price??) question 3, most people either work hard and save, or come into some $$$ by selling a property etc..., others just have their priorities all messed up and waste countless thousands on an addiction that they can barely fund (I fit the latter).Question 4 ,yes people on here really have that much money tied up in their junk weather they want to admit it or not, again remember your Rubi?question 5 yes, it really does cost that much to have a nice buggy built, the last few I've seen Adam Woodlee and Brian Cole build were in the 70k range for a turn key..You can save all kinds of cash doing the labor part yourself, but my skills are not what Jims are , so I knew I'd be wasting money for me to build it.(not to mention I can stay at work and make $75 an hour working on cars and Jim ain't charging that much).
And just so you know generally a comp. buggy is bare bones, therefore usually making it cheaper than a trail riding buggy.
Obviously it's cheaper to round up all your own parts and do as much work as you can, but to call up with nothing and request a turn key ride...45k is average, but hey it's done fast. what did this one take, like less than 4 months?

hell mark has 5 grand in just axle shafts .. i dont have 40 grand so ill biult mine myself but for the work jim does those buggies are a deal

Why don't you go trash up somebody else's thread. You know full well what a buggy cost.

You had more than that in that POS rubicon, and have more that that in your duramax.

First off nice job on a top notch buggy. I don't know the total for parts and labor but i am sure it was a deal in comparison to larger name builders. I have looked hard and close at some big name buggys. jims work is as good or better than the big names..And Just for reference to anyone wanting to build a buggy on a So called budget... I have nearly 10K in mine with Dirt cheap Toyota stuff and all the labor was free...

My thoughts exactly.. You can't even PRETEND to not know that it's a deal for what it is, let alone how much it costs.

I know how much I have just in v.4 of my cruiser with the steering rocks, coilovers, links, etc... and I already had a "chassis" and alot of the little parts. This rig truly is a deal.

But let's not give Jim a bigger head than he already has.. He might start charging more!

O ok that is a deal then.

Jim does excellent work and is a great guy. That is the truth. His work is awesome and these buggy's look fantastic. I wish i had the money to give him and say here build a buggy. Jim your right, I had too much money tied up in that rubicon which is why i sold it and paid for my daily driver which is my diesel truck. I have to start from ground zero again. HAHA You know how long it took me to fianlly get a jeep. 5 years.:shaking: so it could be a while before i ever see a buggy or another trail rig. Great work. keep it up.

Just got back from wind rock and the buggy works great. I cant beleave how well everything works. I figured there would be some bugs to work out but everything works perfect. Jim dose awsome work at a great price. THANKS JIM
