Bears are getting like the coyotes, the more we encroach on them the more we are going to see them in unexpected places. Neighbor killed a huge bobcat just a couple hundred yards from the house not too long ago... And you know I'm not that far out

That's an understatement for sure. Here in wnc so many high end housing developments are being built on tops of mountains with no access to hunters its becoming little islands of bear bliss. Asheville is slowly becoming over ran with them. And an adult male was spotted on Russ ave. In Waynesville two days ago. (That is about dead center of town, busiest street in Waynesville)
