I need a small forklift on May 1 in Winston Salem

Looks like Herc and Sunbelt are both about $700

Any cheaper options?

skid steer with forks?
articulating loader? (lull)

Both should be under $400/day rental

Too sensitive. Got it all up there with my tractor and forks but was sketch a fawk

What you trying to pick up?
Not pick up. Bring down...about 10k in old school REAL WOOD furniture

Call Brian Graham with United rentals

Just called him. He's talking mini lull 😳

I mean..hell yeah that's ideal..but never would have thought of that

Hey I know a fella who owns a 6k forklift.
You get a trailer it hauls pretty cheap!.

6k weight or 6k capacity? One of these is a lot heavier than the other.

Yep. My 6k capacity lift weighs 10,500 lbs.
Details, details....I pull the lever things go up. I guess I'll have to look. The number stick out in my head from the purchase.

A 19’ scissor lift is super cheap to rent. Get in, rise up, load at height, lower down, unload.
And it’s light enough to fit on a trailer most of us own

I don't see anything on a pallet. Seems just piece by piece. What about a Duct Lift, or something of that nature?

Duct Jacks / Genie Material Lift Rentals

Those work wonders for setting a 200lb air handler into place above a ceiling, but multiple pieces over and over would bring the suck

I've free access to a few of those. But the rails kill the idea of using one of those. Most of the pieces are larger than the platform. (see wall unit behind the boy displaying his balls 10 yrs ago)

Setting the piece on top of the rails might work..but then once it's down it's now 7ft in the air

Unless I'm missing something.

Do you not have a locally owned rental place near by? Around here ram rentals is cheaper for little things like forklifts than herc or sunbelt. You won't be moving much weight and aren't going high. You should be able to move a small forklift yourself with a car trailer and save on delivery and pickup.

@YotaOnRocks hooked me up. Got a MUCH better quote for a 5k one day rental

the rails do come off. Or a larger scissor lift would work for similar costs. Just some ideas.
