Friendly reminder

We do. Almost a gallon per day per person, which actually isn't a lot considering we're at work all day. It's really only a few glasses per day, and we don't drink soda or anything like that. We put a little stevia in it to take the edge off, because I can't do sweet tea and don't want the calories of actual sugar. We have 4 tea pitchers in heavy rotation, 2 at a time, and a stainless pot dedicated to brewing.

I'm about to mix up another two gallons before I go to bed, so I won't make more until Thursday.

So what's the count on kidney stones?

Oh it was the lawnmower. It caught fire pretty close to where they stored all the fuel in plastic gas cans, and WOOF....it was a massive fire for sure

They're SUCH great people too. She's one of the owners of "Get it to go" bakery on 109 across from the watering hole. SUPER nice folks. Their sons went to school with my daughters.
Stupid question but how does the lawnmower catch fire? Must be pretty damn hot and not running correctly.

I recently acquired a John Deere rider and had to replace the bearing assemblies on the deck (reason I got it for nothing) when I removed the pulley safety covers there was so much dead grass and debris under there setting right next to the belts you could tell there had been small fires under there. I left the covers off so I would be able to wash it off and prevent any future issues.

A neighbor had a tractor catch fire and burn down his barn in the middle of the night. I think the starter is what caught fire or a short in the starter wire cant remember. I do remember everyone that didn't have a battery disconnect switch installing one shortly after.

I can see the starter, and I guess the deck and dead grass. I know hay will catch fire when it is too wet and smolders but that is large amounts. It was a questions cause we do store our push mower in the garage next to the plastic gas cans.

On the possible notion I could loose my "NC4x4 man card" my wife cuts the grass because she loves to and just puts the mower away and comes in to enjoy the AC and a beer. I still do the maintenance and weed eat but she wouldn't even let my son cut the grass because that's her job! I've cut the grass at our house maybe a dozen times in 21 years and I am ok with that. She won't always tell me when there is something wrong with the mower other than when she cant get it to start.

sounds like my place-- except the ol lady weed eats and i mow.
can't no one else do it to suit her and that's ok with me.
she a good ol girl --ask for things like a small chainsaw or a new weedeater
for christmas.
