Well, Brad got a "new" Jeep, and I got a "new" boat. It's a 1989 Astro Bassport 16 ft aluminum bass boat in very good condition. It has everything I was looking for in a fishing boat, plus this one has no wood in it anywhere. All the decking is aluminum... no rot... ever. The motor is a 25hp Mercury which the previous owner says will run at 25 mph all day with three people, plus gear, in it. It has a livewell, fishfinder, trolling motor, dual batteries, onboard charger, even a sound system, plus all the other required-by-law accessories. I am happy the search is over.
