heading to Asheboro on 64E coming from Lexington Monday night, there was a place at $2.99 for regular. I've been seeing an average of $3.19-3.49 around Lexington as of late.

Diesel prices have gone way down as well. Last Saturday, I got diesel at the Flying J truck stop in Haw River for $3.54/gal.

After driving across town for $3.54 diesel, only to find that station's run by thieving fawkers like all the local stations (actually $3.79)...
I don't put much faith in "gasbuddy"... likely a bunch of station owners/managers posting boogus pricing just to get you there
