Gas under $3.00

2.69 gas and 3.55 diesel in Dallas, NC along Dallas-Stanley Highway.
 
$2.89 gas and $3.49 diesel at the Citgo and Hess on Sandy Ridge Rd crossing I-40.

2.55 gas and 3.34 diesel in Inman, SC
 
127 in Mtn View - gas $2.81, diesel 3.69, which is nice, since I need to fill up, and it's gone down since yesterday...
(that's at 2 different stations, across the street from each other, one has lower gas by 8 cents, the other lower diesel by 20 cents)
 
It was $2.79 for reg and $3.39 for diesel at the Citgo on the corner of Sandy Ridge Rd and I-40 last night. $0.10 cheaper than 24 hrs before.

filled up this morning at $2.74, got about 20+ gallons for $56. I can't recall that last time I went from the "You're about to be walking light" on the dash to Full for under $60. Big difference from previous $80 fill ups.

I was trying to recall, maybe someone else does... What was the price before it started Sky rocketing? I know it's always been on the rise, and it gone up and down some for that matter, but before the latest (in the past year or 2) jump.
 
About 3 years ago my son was born and that's when gas started going up from the hurricane katrina. It was about $2.58 here before it started skyrocketing. I remember we went into the hospital for his birth and when we came out gas had gone up to $3.30!
 
$2.55 here in Greensboro near wendover and 40.:bounce2: Filled up the ZJ for $42!
 
$2.29 at the arab store on hwy 39 at earpsboro rd, about 4 miles south of the mudcats stadium.

no shit, those arabs are the cheapest around. the ones that own that one also own the store at hwy22 & hwy 42, and the fuel doc in micro. they are always cheaper than anywhere else, the one on 39 is usually the cheapest of the three tho.
