Unless you live under a rock, you know our officially unofficial get together is just weeks away. Link here

The cost of the venue is $500. Last year everyone pitched in to cover this, and then the fee was waived as it and everything else raised was donated to one of our own, @snappy due to the tragic and sudden loss of his son.

This year, we have decided to rally around another one of our own. Justin Horton (@tobaccoroad4wd) and his wife are currently in the process of adoption approval. They already have their home study scheduled.

If you don’t know, adoption these days, is incredibly expensive. Like north of $30k expensive. As we did last year, please bring cash and I will have a bucket for donations. The venue fee will be subtracted and the rest given to Justin and his wife.

We could even do a raffle Saturday evening.

Last year we raised over $3,000 for Snappy. Let’s all stand by a fellow wheeler and do it again!

If you can’t make it and would still like to donate, you can PayPal me or reach out to Justin directly if you wish.

Sweet who doesn't like a raffle!?

Raffle items could be very very simple. Perhaps a $20 gift card to common restaurants, desirable parts we may have laying around, shop rags, brake clean, etc. Just simple things we can all use and pickup on the cheap somewhere. Just my thoughts.
I’m also cool not doing a raffle. If it’s easier to just all hang out and throw some money in a pot, no worries.

I can also offer up a “Shop Day” in my shop. Bring your rig, and we’ll work on whatever you need another pair of hands for. Maybe it’ll be the jumpstart you need to get back on the trail, knock out the wicked cool light bar, regear your axles, work on a cage, or just solid camaraderie. No angry grilles or squatting of vehicles allowed. (I’m not a big tire shine guy myself, but I suppose I can overlook that one.) Date to be determined by myself and the raffle winner.
@adamk and @Chris_Keziah have agreed to be there as well, and I’m sure it won’t be hard to rope in several more if needed. We can start whenever and I’ll put some sort of deliciousness on the smoker and finish the day off with a good meal. I’ll provide the food and the shop space, you bring the rig and parts, DOM, rainbow stickers, etc. (no judgement except for angry grilles and half lifted trucks)

Just a reminder for this. Let’s get some raffles prizes. Anything you can drum up from supporters, gift cards, brake cleaner, simple tool kit, things every gear head likes. Keep it simple or big. But let’s all pitch in for the raffle prizes.

Got it. Form submitted.

Something tells me you haven’t linked up who I am here, with who I am on FB? Lol

Just a reminder for this. Had a few donations hit the PayPal. My email is at the bottom of the first post if you can’t make it but still want to support the cause.

I've been holding off to tell everyone but I've got some bad news. @Loganwayne will not be in attendance. Through a series of events, that were in no way his fault, he will not be there. I'm sad and now everyone else is too. How the collective group will carry on, I'm not entirely sure. I'm sure copious amounts of spirits will ease the pain.

I will also not be there.

Man this year is gonna suck. Even my main crew is bailing for the most part. Now I don’t even get to see the only dude I actually have a crush on

Anything sent to PayPal for this moving forward I will send to Justin. Or you may PayPal him. I have transferred the money to my bank and will withdrawal $740 today.
$500 goes to the venue fee.
