I threw out all the equipment and put in the Google mesh system. Works flawlessly. Only issue i have had is activating smart devices that work on 2.4g only. Then i unplug all but the main unit to guarantee I am on 2.4, or use my laptop that supports 2.4 only. I get seamless wifi from basement to deck to upstairs to garage to the front yard.
