going to Kaufman trailers saturday...

I know it snowed in Troy.

o_O no it di.......

OH...wait :D

Not a drop just NORTH of Thomasville, but Snappy said they got a few inches in Trashboro.....so there may BE something down around Denton

I live in Denton and drive right by the road that you turn on to get to Kauffman's every day on my way to work in High Point and have had no problem. We didn't get any snow in Denton.

18’ should get it, he let me wheel olde nelly one day it was nice

long story still long...ain't going today! Old unit 10 is one wheel drive and there is just too much ice getting out of my yard and through the hood to the main road and it ain't much better sooooo I've put off picking it up. I talked Sandy in getting one also since she has a 94-F250 just sitting there with very low miles. She was still going today to get hers but last night, something happened to the hyd. clutch on the truck.Either the master blew out or the slave went and that means pulling the tranny/transfercase to change it out.I hope it's something simple. Why in the hell did the Huns design one zf with internal and the other external I don't know.
I ran up there last weekend and looked over what they had.Liked their operation and products.Price was pretty comparable with other manufactors but they are a N.C. based business and I like buying N.C. when I can. Also, the salesman/buying experience has been top notch. As much volume as they see coming in and out on a sat. morning, they still treated me as more a buyer than a shopper just getting a price and never being seen again.
Sale right now...16 foot one price but for 100 dollars more,18 foot can be had...metal deck 200 more than wood and 100 pounds heavier. So I got the standard 18 foot 7,000 gvwr(why? because I don't need more than that) with metal deck. I've been hauling Nelly on a 1970s home built trailer I pulled out of the woods and rebuilt. It is JUST the right size for Nellie but anything else is just too much. I've been pulling this trailer for roughly 8 years now and it needs more work to be better IE brakes, fenders, break away box,new wood so I decided to buy a new one. Virginia is very anal about what is pulled on their hog paths and I've been wanting to take Nellie up to do battlefield touring also. It's a move that was needed to be made.

Either the master blew out or the slave went and that means pulling the tranny/transfercase to change it out.

You can try topping off the reservoir and pumping it a few times to flush the air out of the system. I've driven them for months that way, putting a bit of fluid in every morning, and sometimes at stop lights along the way.

she was in sight of home when she called. She got AAA to haul it on to the shop. The way she described it over the phone, might be a catastropic failure somewhere. Doin fine and then nothing with the pedal sticking down till prodded up with a toe. Unfortunately, there are a couple hundred miles distance between myself and the truck so I can't look at it. Doesn't sound good right now.I'm hoping for something with the pedal to master linkage or blew the line out and not the slave. Funny story,My neighbor borrowed my 350 for a month or so as a ride back and forth to work. The slave was leaking so I showed him what to do about keeping it filled and an eye on it.It came back to me with the clutch not releasing. Opened the res. and it was full. Dumbass didn't bother to take the rubber cup out before filling and I showed him that.
