Need to post the pics where errrbody can see them

Jason and I headed up EARLY thursday to set up and get in some sunny and 70 degree wheeling.
We started to camp up top, but with possible snow on the day of departure we didn't wan to traverse that hill loaded.

So we moved camp to the lower area

But before we even SET UP camp, we hit the trails!

I encouraged Jason to hit crackhead.....

Then I took a shot:

After crackhead we shot "the moon" a little

We had NO issue whatsoever with the hard lines on the moon Thursday.....this would be a VERY different story on saturday

After the moon we hit the upper creek bed

Then we hit Razorback

But only got a hundred yards or so in before Rodney called Jason to advise moving our camp down to the bottom with him. So we backed out of Razorback and went to move our rigs to the lower lot.

Once we set up, Jason broke out the grill and cooked us up some of his famous BBQ chicken and Beans.

I discovered a new drink, and Ben, Casey and Jason discovered what an idiot repeats when he's mixed a few too many on the first night

Anyway, we turned in just as a storm was brewing. Thankfully we had shelter

The next morning (friday) Rodney pulled up to join in the fun

The temp was in the upper 50's and it was a BEAUTIFUL day! Jason even made a new friend

We started up the same lower creek bed (trail 16) ....but since it had rained there was now a little mud mixed

It was a little more difficult, but still fun

But then......

But before you could blink, Ben was in there with a Jack, the impact, and throwin a fix on it

This was the culprit

We got it bent back thru some ingenuity of Jason and Ben and Rodney got it back on, and we winched Rodney out of the creek

BTW..that's crackhead between Jason and Casey

Rodney hopped into Jasons rig to finish out the days ride.

Next was the upper Creek Bed

Next, we got the bright idea to try razorback AGAIN....since we stopped early yesterday.

However......with the rain we fought a brand new animal.

This is where we got our winch on, and Ben showed us how to pull line and stack blocks

After 2 hours.....we had only made it a few hundred yards in.....and decided to try something else

From there we headed around 42 and climbed a killer waterfall (65 next to Winchin Church hill)

After that Robbie arrived in the "Pimp Palace" and we set in for dinner

The next morning we started the day in snow

The traction was rather amazing in the snow!!! Much better than the day before

Didn't take long to melt though...since it was in the 40's


But these guys made due without doors or windows

and real tough women and babies too

on to more trails




We gave The moon another shot....but Robbie blew a warn hub and we came back down

Watching Robbie have so much fun in what I have declared a mortal enemy (see license plate) I decided to follow Lankford up the back way around the moon on trail 14.

Even coming down in the mud sucked

Ran over 42 up to Winchin Church Hill

We headed back for lunch and then robbie hopped in with Lankford. We rolled a few trails then headed up 7...I took this on trail 50, then looking back at Lankford on trail 7

And as soon as I turned around, THIS is what I saw

Then we headed back over to the moon side and hit 14 a little more

And at the end of the day....jason had to have a little fun

Great recap Troy. Really hate I missed it. As awesome as that place is I can't believe there aren't more people there every weekend.

AMEN on all the Videos! even though there is a missing Second. [Ah-Conspiracy!] That 1 Second my tie rod turned into a horse shoe! B u tttt, I think I see a little pointy rock, shiny on top, that was the Culprit! I let You tube run the video succession, & enjoyed it All! Especially when it got to the "Spanish Beaches"! WaHoooooooo
