So spring break is next week, and i'm just looking for some suggestions for some good beer to try.
So tell me, what's some of your favorite beer and what kind is it?

are you old enough to drink? seems to me if you were old enough you probably already have a preference.

my favorite drink is served on the rocks, ya gotta ask for it though, its almost never advertised In bars. Most places just call it water.

yes i am, it's just i've always been a cheap ass with the attitude quantity over quality and could never justify paying $8 for a 6 pack when $10 got me a 24 pack

but as i'm maturing i don't feel the need to just get drunk and wasted as much and would rather enjoy a few good tasting beers than a bunch of shitty ones. all i ever really bought was busch ice, beast ice, ice house, natty ice, natty light, pbr, or whatever else was the cheapest at the time. sometimes i would treat myself to bud light or miller light or yuenling(spelled it wrong but o well) and the keg of coors light we get every new years

Yeah man there's a water shortage you gotta stop drinking all that crap.

Get you a sixer of Harp or Shiner Bock or Black Hook or Dead Guy or Duck Rabbit or Fat Tire or Black Butte or Negra Modelo or something else that's not Girls Light.

I'm thinking dirtySouth hasn't yet developed the palate for finer brews if he considers bud light and miller lite a treat.

He'll just have to start drinking good stuff and make that face til they taste good.

Or in the mean time High Life is always a solid option. I guarantee the Girl in the Moon will never dump you on facebook.

Dog Fish Head 90 Minute IPA.

Guinness Extra Stout

New Castle Brown Ale

just about any Sam Adams (minus Cherry Wheat and Cranberry Lambic)

Corona is always a good bet.

Amber Bach isnt too bad either.

Ive just HEARD this are good btw ;-)

Corona? That doesn't even taste like beer! Bleck!

corona SUCKS it tastes like piss to me

i like that dogfish stuff, just tried some sierra nevada....pretty good, i love guiness, and i just drank a highland something, brewed in ashville.....it was probably the best beer i've ever drank
but i'm a fan of dark beers

I can still enjoy a highlife from time to time to get refreshed.

Can't go wrong with the champagne of beers

you don't have to break the bank to get a full flavored beer. My two regulars when I'm not in the mood to pay out the ass, or just too broke are Killians and Yeungling. Rarely do I go lighter than that.

if this is for spring break I seriously doubt quality is what you need to be shooting for. just get a good $15/case beer and start with the festivities. when i was in college all I drank was Milwaukee's Best aka The Beast. Red cans too not that wussy blue label crap. When I splurged I bought Budweiser not Bud Light.

Trust me after the 6th beer it's not going to matter.

"Killians and Yeungling" does NOT = "Full flavored"!

They're both simply darker variations of Bud! Might as well be swillin' down some Colt45 and saving the difference...

If it ain't Guinness on draught..it's all the same horse piss to me. Want to speed the process along go with an Irish car bomb...you'll thank me.

Shiner Bock & Yeungling are two favorites.....

Classics are PBR, Bud, & Miller High Life to fall back on.....

I hate light beers as a whole, that's probably why I'm so "skinny".:shaking::beer:

I would rather drink water over light beer.
