Good beer-suggestions?

I had a 6er of the Michelob Ultra Amber the other day and really liked it. Kinda tastes like whiskey. I'm also a fan of the Yuengling Lager. Back at school it was always Bush/Natty for 'light' party nights, Jack/Jim for ones that got a little out of control...

im still in college an im poor so the "usual" is busch light or bud light, buuuuuttttt i kinda like carolina nut brown ale when im drinkin the microbrews though.

in terms of local brews, IMHO stay away from Ole Hickory Brewery anything. I had the Ocktoberfest, and it was so much more bitter than Sam Adams's it was insane. The Ole Hickory Brewery Ale isnt much better.

Pick up the 4 pack of Dog Fish head for a good night. That stuff is powerful flavor. Make sure its the Pink Cap, 90 Minute IPA stuff.

brooklyn black chocolate stout

bout 10-11 bucks a 6er but they are 11.6% so a 6pack will do it!

Hmm

In no particular order.

Warsteiner (Drink a lot because Kroger sells it)
Stella Artois (usual purchase because Kroger sells it)
Bitburger (2nd favorite)
Czechvar (Personal favorite)
Kölsch
Obolon Magnat
Baltica (can't remember which one is good)
Svyturys
Various Belgian lambics (Lindeman's is a safe bet for the fruit ones). Don't let the fruit scare you off. Very tasty stuff.
Yuengling
UFO
Negra Modelo

grow some balls and get sum MIKES HARD LEMONADE.

The question was about beer... not bottled "ladies drink"! :flipoff2:

Bitter? Or just mega hoppy?

Oh, and where could UJO pick me up a 6pack of each in Hickory?

mmm. And it's local, though I don't recall seeing it sold in stores yet and only on tap at bars and restaurants.

And when I see it... I buy any and all I can...

As far as anything else, Hell... I will just go into the store and buy something I have not tried just to see how it is. That is how I figure out if I like it or not.

As I type this, I am also drinking a Leinenkugel's Honey Weiss Wheat Beer

man I love the sunset wheat but the honey wheat is not that good. Fruity pebble water ftw

btw if anyone really wants a great beer check out the stuff at www.stonebrew.com . You can get it shipped and honestly its the best pale ale I've ever had. The IPA is great and the arrogant bastard is phenominal
