Does anyone know if it really makes a difference with these tires which way they are run? If you have the large lug pattern on the inside or outside of the tire.

I know most pictures you see show them mounted the second way. Was just trying to find out if there were disadvantages to running them with the larger lug pattern on outside of the tire.
 
I've been through two sets, always ran them the way they're intended to be ran. Never noticed a difference in one side pulling better than the other.
 
Running them as they are marked will provide longer life and better traction from what I found years ago researching them. That’s what I’ve done on both sets and the first wore very even and good mileage out of a 37 IMO.
 
Gotcha, my neighbor did me a favor and mounted 2 tires for me. When he brought them home they weren't mounted the "correct" way. So I'll probably go get them swapped if I don't get a new set soon.
 
Those always bothered my OCD...
