HELP! I am lookin' fer somethin'...

What about wearing cargo pants and put your wallet in the leg pocket? Or, I have a couple pair of pants from Gander Mtn or Bass Pro Shops that have a zipper pocket down on the leg and the zipper is hidden in the outside seam of the leg.

Samething happened to me & they can't fix it either. I am in non-stop pain 24/7. I carry mine in my jacket in the winter & leave it in the truck in the summer.

Ask your doc about epidural Steroid injections. I had 3 about 12 yrs ago and it really helped w my sciatica. Now it only bothers me occasionally.
 
Go to a biker store, they have all kinds of belt pouches, accessory storage and they are very secure. Plenty of them inline to get an idea of what you want but you have to try them in person to be sure.

They've tried it along with injections to the hip as well. Nothing helps. They even injected my sciatic nerve to be sure. That's was it cause I was pain free for 12 hours but I was also paralysed from the waste down on the right side for 12 hours. I have had a total of 7 of those injections over the last 2 years.
 
I hope you and Granny can find some relief from this very painfull, debilitating condition. It changed my life and my livelyhood.
 
I need to say that I don't have it that bad. I have something left over from my back surgery, but it is nothing horrible... at least not yet. Considering the unbearable pain I had before the surgery I am not complaining at all, but will, one way or the other, get that wallet relocated. Best wishes to those of you who are really hurting.
