If you would pay attention to all of the post you would see that I was responding as a whole to all the post. I belive I know you cant put a body lift on a cherokee since I have one. What I was simply saying was that I wouldnt put a body lift on anything. It would be a waste of my time. But thanks for looking into it for me.

If you shop around you could do a SAS on that 4-Runner for around $800 and you would be set.

XJ Cheap entry price, work good on the trails, enough room for family and junk, cheap and plentiful upgrades.

4runner. Do like I did. 1.5 BJ spacers in the front, Longer shakle in the rear. 2"BL because I did a 2" drivetrain lift. IFS shafts are easier to change than SA shafts. I have less than $600 in all of my lift including the drivetrain lift and I can stuff 33s all day long.

If you want to stay smaller than 35's then xj with the 8.25 rear. If you eventually want to go bigger go 4runner. The axles are stronger. Especially with alloys. 85 4runner is the best solid axle and fi.
