My garage in Thomasville was broken into last night and 3 of my race bikes were stolen, please keep an eye out for them and share with friends. They were a 2010 KTM 300XC, 2011 GasGas EC300R, and a 2001 KX500 all heavily modified. They also took my Arai helmet with a fresh season pass to UNF on the back of it. I'm sick, please help.

Post up the serial numbers so they show up as stolen if anyone does a Google search. I'd also post it up in the regional section of AdvRider if you're a member there.

Can you post on North Carolina Hare Scramble Association page? I am no longer a member but a good group. I am going to try to cross post on facesmack.

Wow dude, you must have a punk neighbor kid that knew something. Do your homework / try to remember who has been in there.

Not saying it could have been prevented, but cameras would at least have told you who done it and better possibility of getting them back. Best $500 investment I ever made...

Hate to hear this. I'd be mad as hell!!!!

It had to be someone that knew what was in there or has seen your garage open before. Those are 3 pretty particular bikes. Not like ripping off a run of the mill bike. This totally sucks man and sorry to hear about it. I'm still looking for a newer bike so I'm scouring the net every day. Will definitely add the KX and GasGas to my searches.

Sorry to hear this sir. I'll keep an eye out around SC.

Damn man this sucks!!! I showed this to the young guys at work.

Each his own bro. I refuse to argue with you Shawn for it's worthless... How about a GTFO!!!:flipoff:

Or better yet, come try to steal my shit and see what happens???:sniper:
I think he's talking about twisting the knife in somebody who's already bleeding. Not the right time bro.

is that necessarily true?
Don't know anything baout the situation - but why couldn't it just be somebody who took a gamble and hit a garage and happened to get lucky on what they found?
You don't hear about all teh times they break into a place that is empty.

Greg, that sucks and I'm sorry. Shared on FB and really hope you find them. Fuck a thief.

^ I feel like to jack three bikes, you must show up prepared with a game plan. these will pop up as specific as they are. My friend is a bike hound, I've put him on it. Sorry to hear it tho.

I doubt a random thief would have been prepared to take 3 bikes.

Fucking sucks, Greg. Hate it for you. Hope someone locates them.

My house is on a dead end. And (MOST) of the neighbors are very tight and watch each other. We all have each other's phone number, know where each works, status, when we're gone or home (for the most part), ect. I've been called on vacation a couple times asking if I had someone to watch my dogs, take out my recyclables, ect. Each person can take it as they will but I absolutely love it! I like to know my neighbors like that. Very comforting.

OK, so my house got busted into yesterday while we were at work

I live in the boonies and have no neighbors.

I pulled my truck around just to see and I could read my tag at around 50-60 feet max. Looking into the sunset killed mine though.

Or better yet, come try to steal my shit and see what happens???:sniper:

Make up your fucking mind.

Hate to hear about this, I can stand alot but damn a thief. Will be on the look out.

@shawn Just wow. I see ratlabs gesture 100% Your's not at all. This is definitely not the place but what the hell since you started it...

I have no idea about the boonies quote? Mind giving me a hint on when, where and why I said that? I see absolutely nothing wrong with the rest of my quotes???

If someone's going to break in it's going to be either in the day when your not home or in the middle of the night when your asleep. Chances of sunset action is pretty slim unless they want a bullet in the ass.

How about posting a bunch more videos of folks who have no clue how to hang a camera and wire up a motion light?

(cut and paste from FB) Thank you Thomasville PD! This morning I woke to a loud knocking on my door about 6:30. It was officer Lomba from Thomasville PD. He said he noticed the side entrance door on my garage was open and that it hadn't been earlier in the morning, there might have been a break in. We walked to my garage to discover 3 of my bikes were gone and one of my helmets. They came looked , fingerprinted all that stuff , assured they would do their best to find them and rolled out. I honestly thought that was it , I'll never see them again, I just lost thousands of dollars and am going to have to spend thousands more to replace my primary bike to race (so I don't go completely crazy from stress). I called my insurance company to find it wasn't covered, no surprise. I went to work and felt sick, at 10:20 I get a call from Thomasville PD and I immediately think they need more info etc. The officer tells me they found all 3 bikes a mile or so from my house. I felt like I won the lottery. I was told that when the day shift came on one of the officers decided to walk through the woods a little less than a mile from my house. A good ways into the woods he found all the bikes laid over behind a bank, as though travel arrangements might be being made. I still can't believe I got them back, thanks for all the help sharing the post!
