Sanford folks...save your beans to buy Chicom crap....Harbor Freight is coming to town....behind Lidl. They've bought land, and submitted a site plan to the county. I can post a link to it later.

They're moving one into the old Kmart here in Goldsboro too, the storefront has the signage up already and it looks like they're hiring right now, not sure when it will open, but it looks like it should be soon! Sure will be nice not having to drive to Greenville anymore to get my harbor freight fix...

Ordinarily, not ideal, but at 2:30 on a sunday, elbow deep in a crappy situation where you need a muffler bearing puller.......a $7 chicago tools one time use is better than nothing

they moved into an old Walmart building in spindale. That was awhile ago now. Their left hand drill bits are pretty good. Saved me much aggravation.

you beat me to it...
hope ya,ll are doing well

I was very happy when HF came to Morganton. Keep up with normal pricing, and then check and see if the coupons are worth it. The 20% coupons are great on things they normally don't throw on sale, but, read the fine print, a lot of "names" of items you are not able to use them on. I just went and bought over $20 on the .69- .99 cent sale. And I have a bunch of stuff I got free with any purchase. If you need a set of tools for the trail, it's the perfect place to go. No hassle warranty on anything that says Pittsburg on it.

I’ll tell ya what some of these new hf tools aren’t shabby if you look some of these tools patents are based off of older Mac tool and popular mechanics pliers, cutters, etc! I’ve had a Pitts 3 tom jack 4 years now out in the elements and no issues, predict generators work great too power almost my whole house not a Honda by any means but 2k less! Their power tools and air tools is not piss on if on fire tho... I use hf for tons of shit my pos bandsaw from there with a few modifications and detailed alignment cuts clean as a mill just not super fast! And I really can’t say enough about the Vulcan welders Ive always been a Lincoln fanboy bc it’s what I used first and never let me down but year and few months with my omnipro220 and it’s not missed a beat on all processes (no tig yet) and I burn metal every afternoon except last month or so since I bought it just for practice! Ive ran at least 80+ lbs of wire through it and 25# 7018s with no issues besides my power source sucking ass and tripping on me lol just puttin that out there I sold my Lincoln idealarc 250/300 to pick up the omnipro220 but I’m no industrial welder so I didnt need that machine really it was a want of mine from childhood lol

I just got an email a couple of days ago with 15% off the usually excluded items. First time I've ever seen that. Toolboxes, floor jacks, welders, generators, compressors, etc.

Your welcome!!! Lol

I'm waiting for it to open on my side of town (G Ferry) There' one about half an hour away in Camden that I visit a lot and also one in Irmo about 20 min away.

I have the harbor freight app on my phone. Keeps me up to date on all the coupons, and they just scan the coupon off my phone. I get something for free every time I go in there.

Or you need a metal detector so you can look for treasures in a creek!

Not too shabby for a battery powered chainsaw from harbor freight. Took 4.5 batteries but it got the job done. Would be better if it had larger amp hour batteries though.

I've had good luck with HF tools in the past. Hell, my entire tool collection was from there when I first started wrenching. I've since upgraded to nicer stuff but will use their tools in a trail bag. I beat on that $20 grinder of theirs for 12 years before it finally died. I just picked up a biscuit cutter a few months ago and it works just fine for my purposes.

See, I've heard that about their grinders. I bought 2 of them and both were smoked in less than 30 minutes of usage. Same with their dent puller/stud welder. Not worth the hassle of dealing with the warranty claims.

interesting. I had one for ~8 years that worked great until it finally gave u the ghost and the motor wore out. Bought another one for $10 that works as well as has been 2 years now.
