Hopefully they're made at two different factories in China. :p

I'm pretty sure Bendpak has their own factory in China though, for the above reasons of quality control.
 
Damn I have a set of the 6 ton, bet the new ones are more and the 20% off won't work.
 
I just viewed a HF ad on FB, for the Farm Jack! Not an official Hi-Lift! Price drop to $47.99. Specifications "look " good, but I don't think I'd test the 7000# rating. And it's a Pittsburg what u ma call it. Which means China.
 
Returned 2 pair of the 6-ton stands yesterday. Had to get a gift card because they didn't have any new 6-ton stands in stock. Lady I spoke with said they sell out as soon as they get shipments in.
 
I always shake and push the vehicle really hard after dropping it on the stand before I take the wheel off or whatever, just in case.
Did it once before climbing under my Mazda and it wasn't settled on the stand properly and it fell off that side. Scared the piss out of me but I was damn glad I'd tested it. Ever since then I give it a good shake.

That picture is downright frightening.
 
I returned a set of 3 tons, was going to upgrade to the 6 ton. Nope, none to be had in either Danville or Greensboro. wasn't going to try Burlington. Just ordered a set of 6 ton jacks on Amazon for delivery today.

Not like a HF gift card will go to waste in my wallet.
 
I got the last 6 ton set in Pineville Monday, though I haven't checked the quality, and kinda wonder about going back to the "same" ones.
