This is a restaurant owned by some good friends of ours. Best food around. Prices are really good too. It isn't but about 15 minutes from URE in Troy. If you are in the area stop in. You will not be disappointed. Best bbq I have ever eaten. We need to support local owned and operated businesses.

I have been doing that lately, it nice to try to not eat at chain stores. The best part is all the different menus and the cash stays locally.

is it vinegar based?
where is it?

It is called Hometown BBQ. It is lexington style BBQ. Here is the physical address. Albemarle Road is hwy 24/27 in troy. It is accross the road from Badcock Home Furnishing and beside Mazatlan mexican restaurant. If you know where the Advance auto is in Troy you can't miss Hometown.

Do they offer Catering?

if so what is avergae cost per person? let say 50 people. BBQ , 2 sides, biscuit and tea?
