Well the time has come for the unicorn to return and live on.

I always loved the build that Matt Cutler did back in 2016 and after he ripped it apart, he and I worked out some details and I brought home the comanche. I have continued to gather parts and have finally started the process to put it back together.

This will take some time as I have a race jeep and a crawler fun jeep that I seem to always keep working on.

Here is a link to the original build:

It started in Sept 2020 when I went and picked up the chassis.

brought it home and my son helped me power wash his new comanche (yes we are building him one also) and the chassis

After I had it in the shop for a few months I started to sand the chassis and realized this would be a pain so I took it to a local sand blaster and had him blast it for me (which he told me yesterday when I picked it up he would never do a chassis again)

I have cut the roof off and still need to clean up some of the metal but needed to start somewhere.

Here it is after I got it home from the blaster

I ended up using 6 cans of primer and it is still is not done but wanted to cover the clean metal best I could to stop the rust.
