Honda mechanic/shop

Not sure where to put this...so if it’s in the wrong section I apologize.

I’m in need of/looking for recommendations on a shop to perform head gasket replacement on a 05 Honda 2.4L 4cyl.

I don’t really have/know a good local shop for motor issues.

Figured someone on here would know of a good shop or a member who is a Honda tech.


Located in Biscoe, NC
Willing to travel around 100 miles for a decent shop.

I'm a bit further than 100 miles but done a bunch.

Check oil for brass/metallic flake if you don't know just how hot it got.. I have been bit once over it getting so hot it warped the block. So now I inspect the oil prior to doing hg on aluminum block motors.

I've had the timing chain service done at both Terry's Honda in Albemarle & Cabarrus Imports in Concord. Pleased with the work at both places.

There’s a good Honda tech guy in Kernersville. I’ve been there a few times and I’m really happy with their service and prices.
