Getting married in November.

Give me some suggestions of a good east coast honeymoon destination.

Thanks

Considering the weather should be perfect for it, look Savannah GA or perhaps Charleston SC I grew up in the coastal areas so I'm a little biased though.

Helen Ga. Will be nice that time of year. If you like German food and German beer then you'll like it too. I'm partial to the mountains in the winter, skiing, tubing, or just staying warm in a cabin somewhere.

Thanks for the suggestions! Keep them coming

We did Charleston SC in 2002. Close enough for a once in a long while sentimental return trip, but far enough away to not be a common destination so it remains special.

Got married in November also. Weather/temps still great down there, and no crowds.

I went wheeling in Harlan with my wife for out honeymoon!

What time in November? Very early Nov would still be good for viewing the fall colors.

Great Smoky Mountain Railroad

The wife and i took a dinner train ride back when she was pregnant with our boy. They feed you dinner on the train while you ride along. A 'play' was performed on the train by a group of actors and actresses that went from car to car. It was fun.

Good hiking trails and mountaun bike trails in the area too.

We stayed here two years earlier, but not in the Inn.

Nantahala Village | Offering Rental Cabins with Awesome Views, Lodge rooms with Hot Tubs and breath taking sunsets, on site restaurants with decadent deserts. In the Great Smoky Mountains of Western North Carolina

We stayed in a private cabin with a 'Braveheart' theme. It had its own hot tub on the porch. Also had a dual sided fireplace in the bedroom with the other side open to a big soaking tub in the bathroom. It was nice. We were up there in the summer doing some rafting and hiking on that trip.

Looking at early November, Great suggestions. Thank you

Tybee Island is perfect right outside of savanna. Check out the Crab Shack, the Social and a great dive bar Huc A Poos.

If you want to stay in the Mountains, rent a cabin suite at Hot Springs and get your woman in a private natural hot tub;)

Get to Florida cheap and quick with Allegiant Air and check out Siesta Key Accommodations, Restaurants, Shopping | Siesta Key Chamber Of Commerce | Siesta Key Beach Information | Siesta Key Sarasota Florida | Siesta Key Beach Information | Siesta Key Sarasota Florida. My brother lives seven minutes from there. Its his favorite beach of anywhere he's been, that's something coming from a traveled beach bum.

If you happen to go to hot springs be sure to stop in Spring Creek Tavern and have some drinks and good grub. The owners are great folks.

Around 30minutes NW of Asheville.

Hot Springs is great! I have a machine there I service, also we had a blast in the private natural hot spring in January ;-)

the Florida recommendations are great, Thanks

yep, found a website with prices. Thanks guys I apologize for the hijack.

If your gonna do the keys there's a place on Duval St in Key West. I stayed there about 10 years ago but it's still there. It's called Casablanca. For the price its probably one of the best places to stay on the key. It's got an attached bar and grill that had som great food. Just stay off the North side of the island.....

Casablanca Key West Hotel

Check out Fernandina beach on Amelia Island in North Florida. Very nice places to stay, without huge crowds. Actually, in November, it will seem desolate.

6 hours from you..it's the first exit, off 95,in fla. So the trip is bearable if driving.

X2 on being nice and desolate during colder weather.
