Honeymoon destination suggestions

Did the honeymoon package at Jekyll Island Club Hotel last October, definitely would recommend. If you're not familiar, Jekyll island is a pretty undeveloped location, save for the Club Hotel. Not much to do on the island, but if you're a history buff and love lounging around/biking/whatever it's awesome.

On Nov 1 you could hit the annual Mule Day Festival in Calvary Ga. with stunning features such as the sunrise breakfast, mule parade and flea market.
On Nov 3 you could move northward and hit the South Carolina Pecan Festival with features too numerous to list.
And finally, you can top off your trip with a stopover for fun, frolicking and camping while attending the 5th Annual Veterans Ride at the beautiful Uwharrie National Forest.

Whatever you do, check out off season rates on beach houses. When we did Charleston, rented a humongous house at Isle of Palms....4.5k bucks in the summer was under a thousand a week in November.
