Honeymoon Ideas

Big Diamond Ranch in Wyoming is nice, it's on the Wind river, views to die for, you can rent side by sides or atvs from the owner and ride endless trails behind the cabin. Fly into Jackson Hole airport, go see Jackson, ranch is about 1.5hrs away. Yellowstone is a about 2.5 hrs from the ranch, makes for a nice day trip. A week there is $1,290 plus fees/taxes so around $1500 a week for the cheapest cabin, which is still nice.No hot tub though. Plane tickets and a rental car, cook at the cabin and you might get it all for just a little over budget. But you can see Yellowstone, The Grand Tetons, Jackson, and just drive around until you are about lost, so much to see.

At the airport view!

Out in front of the cabin

This was our back yard!

Snake river guided tour down next to the Tetons.

If you see people pulled off the side of the road, just stop and see what it is, we did this a saw bear, bison, elk and more.

Grand canyon of Yellowstone.

Overlook by Jenny lake.

I guess we're getting murdered. lol

We dated for about 4.5 years and have been engaged since June.
We don't really brag about it, but if it comes up, we will let people know we are waiting.

There was an ‘or’ there. And I meant it, congrats on waiting...definitely noble. Hindsight being 20/20...wish I could say the same to my wife.

When my wife and I went to lakeside Montana we absolutely loved it! Tons todo. Glacier national park was beautiful with some great hiking trails! My vote it out west And your not far from Canada so you could do a little exploring.

Must be somewhat romantic and somewhat adventurous.

Make sure this applies to the wife as well.

Congrats on the pending nuptials!

April is gonna be kinda chilly most places unless you head to the tropics or way down south (that's what she said)

My vote would be save that coin, do something economical and then have a blow out honeymoon when the timing is right.
Honestly, Chattanooga is a pretty cool place to visit and honeymoon with lots of outdoorsy things in town. Fun night life too.

Our honeymoon?
Married on Saturday afternoon (Oct 20). Drove to Rutherfordton NC (seriously) and spent one night at the Firehouse Inn B and B. Our wedding meal was a country fried steak sammich for me and a salad for her at the only diner in town. Did the nasty, crashed, ate some coffee cake at 3 AM, headed some the next day and back to work.
We took a proper honeymoon to Orlando in May at an all inclusive resort that bordered Universal.
