This might should be in the Vender section but here goes. I'm putting this here to let more people know. Every body doesn't look in the Vender spot, especially for a deal on Hot Dogs!
I appreciate the support that every one has gave Belinda and myself in the past year and a half. Started out slow and almost threw in the towel on the 4x4 crowd at URE! We're doing OK now with an event thrown in occasionally, they really help. We have tried our best to give a fresh, hot, meal at a reasonable price. Some times we can get a little behind and a little wait time occurs, but we're trying our best to serve as fast as we can with good grub. Both of us honestly appreciate your patience when this happens!
The reason I'm bringing this up to begin with is price! With everything going up in price (and I mean everything). We are NOT going to raise our prices one cent! Times are tough for every one and we started this little venture with nothing and we agreed we would be fair with quality and price! If we gouge our customers and cut corners, YOU will know real fast we're cheating you.
So as of now, we will keep ALL of our prices the same for 2011! We have our permits for URE ready for the April 1st opening on Friday and will be there for the weekend! Hope to see a lot of faces that weekend!
We are doing this in appreciation for our regular customers and for the new ones as well! THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR THE PAST! Terry & Belinda dba YOUR HOT DOG GUY!
 
I don't even like hotdogs but this past year I ate more than probably the last 5 just because y'all were out there! It is so nice to be able to hit the double parking lot and have a quick dog and drink. Thanks for being there!
 
I'm sure happy to see that Belinda is keeping your sorry butt straight. I/we probably won't see y'all on opening weekend, but plan to be there the 2nd, 3rd, and 4th weekends... all for different events. :beer:
 
You guys are the best. It's nice to not have to trek all the way back to the outpost just to get some warm grub. Thanks for being there!
 
Terry don't worry if you DO have to increase your prices. With the price of everything going up, we as consumers actually expect it. We all know you have to have a margin of profit to be able to continue. We'd all rather pay a quarter or fifty cent more, rather than not have the option of being able to have one at all!

Terry and Balinda are some of the most stand up good people around. Getting to work with Terry during the week, i see first hand how much of his heart is behind this business. I would venture to say there are very few people with his style of business that cares about his customers and equipment as much as he does... Hope to eat tons of hot dogs at the URE opening weekend. Good luck...

Your Hotdog Guy will cater most any kind of event.
Birthday parties,Grand openings,Customer appreciation days,ball team banquets... probably about anything.
Just give him a call.

I know that hiring a clown to blow up balloons is probably more expensive than the set up fee that Terry would charge to cater a birthday party within a reasonable travel distance.

I simply could not pass on this... that "clown" would probably blow up balloons too! :flipoff2:

me my wife and girls thought you guys were great and when i came back with my brother and others we went and got some of those dogs. i think you guys are great and being in the middle of the woods. man i could have used you in the army. i think if you had to charge more we would all be glad to pay up. see you this year..:bounce2::beer:
 
Thanks guys for the kind words! Belinda and I have set this as a goal this year. Keeping the same prices is something we have discussed and with the economy the way it is, good news no matter how small will be a relief. This is our way of saying thanks. URE gets us by, but the events is what keeps us going. By no means are we promising, but we're giving it our best shot! It's a shame we don't have cell service at the double parking lot....you could call ahead for reservations! Don, I don't know what to say, I didn't know you knew how to spell balloons! Thanks again! When I told my pregnant fiancee I want to go to URE at least once this summer she wasn't to happy about but when I told her you would be there & I told her I will buy her all the hot dogs she wants she said yes.

Sounds like she's a keeper for sure! When you come down remind me of this please! It's nice to put faces with names! Glad we could help. If she doesn't feel like being bounced around on the trail she can set with us a while!
 
I will surely do that BTW I've been wanting to try one of your hot dogs since I found out about the official unofficial hot dog guy of NC4X4. I may be young but I'd rather support local than chains.
 
I have never had one of your dogs but from what people on here are saying about them I must have one or three ( I like hot dogs ). My wife on the hand, LOOOOOOVVVEEESSS, hot dogs. She usually buys a few packages at a time and will not only eat them cooked but snack on them cold, lol.

I even heard he puts on a one man Midget show sometimes.
 
Thanks for being out there for us! If your dogs went up to $5 apiece, I would still buy one because you are one of us.
 
Thanks guys! We do have our own way of preparing them! Right or wrong, I like them. The buns are a little tricky but worth the wait in my opinion. To the new guys and expecting gals, I hope you enjoy! Your Hot Dog Guy! Might possibly be in the Raleigh area soon, we'll see!
 
Terry is a big part of everything he gets involved with. I would pay what ever I had to for the hot dogs, and he knows I eat at least 3 a visit. Without Terry things like the volunteer program just wouldn't be the same. Cheers to the best hot dogs in the parkinglot, heck best hot dogs in the National Forest! :beer:
