Oh, for 279 acres I could make do for at least a while...
I'm not ashamed to be seen socializing with you, I just don't want to have to cook without good ventilation.
But you should know that will severely limit the cooking of bacon.when I buy my 4 million dollar house that will be my cook's issue not mine!

I dig it, but my kids would climb over the porch rail and plunge to their death, so unfortunately that means I'm out.You got me browsing in that area, and I spotted this one nearby:

This 4789 square feet Single Family home has 4 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms. It is located at 9259 Statesville Road, North Wilkesboro, NC.www.zillow.com
Just a bit above my budget.
Shit, west of Greensboro is the mountains for me.I like it, and was gonna go halves with my distant cousin @drkelly, but with the house at 1600ft elevation, I'm out. They could have at least put it on top of the mountain:

Plus, 1800ft ain't a mountain, that's just a big hill. Gotta get up to at least 3000ft to get the edge off the summer heat.
Mine would insist on installing climbing routes on the retaining wall.I dig it, but my kids would climb over the porch rail and plunge to their death, so unfortunately that means I'm out.
That kitchen, tho...
Apparently y’all’s clients aren’t as high class as some we have been dealing with. Two separate sets of clients have spent over a 100,000 on kitchen appliances. One has 2sets of everything so his chief doesn’t get bogged down. The other client just went all out on a full waterproof outdoor kitchenA house like that, someone's going to spend $20k just on appliances.
But, seriously, that's a crappy kitchen.
You're right, 20k is low... subzero fridge columns alone are like 11k each.Apparently y’all’s clients aren’t as high class as some we have been dealing with. I'm not the safety snob, my wife is. Im just trying to avert more marital discord. I'm good enough at provoking that myself. So @trailhugger ia a kitchen snob, @jeepinmatt is an elevation snob and @awheelterd is a safety snob.
I think I’m a “don’t want where I eat to look like a greenhouse with those goofy windows” snob.
It kinda looks like an old Hardee's.So @trailhugger ia a kitchen snob, @jeepinmatt is an elevation snob and @awheelterd is a safety snob.

I think this is the more realistic take on it because of the pervasive inflation. $300k is the new $200k.The US housing market will finally be back to normal in 2023 — but prices will be stuck permanently higher
Fannie Mae economists see home-price growth matching its pre-COVID average of 5% in early 2023. By then, houses will be a new level of unaffordable.www.businessinsider.com
Me too. I'm hoping for an American Evergrande momentI need land value to crash. Specifically about 100 acres of good hunting land within walking distance of my house. Not asking a lot.
Drop the "u" and the price will go downA house in my neighbourhood:

This is Florida and there's no pool. F-that! It's has nothing on my house and no way I'd pay 1/2mil for either.
