How do I remove this Chrome strip?

Its a sticker, but not a decal. Its just a plastic strip.

then I'd say with 99.9% certainty that it's just adhesive backed, and not siliconed. Safest bet is to go to the hardware store and pick up some Bestine:

take a squirt bottle and squirt some along the edge. let it soak in for a minute. It'll turn the adhesive to jelly. then start prying it off. squirt more as you go and you can get it all off in one piece. then a rag with bestine on it to wipe/scrub off the residue.

Done this MANY times and Bestine is GREAT for this.

heat them up with heat gun as you pull them off then get you a rubber wheel at a body shop supply put on drill and it will remove all shit on the paint. that would be the cleanest way to get them off and it wont mess up the paint

I used a hair dryer to soften and rip, and nail polish remover (acetone) to remove the glue residue.
