How do you catch a bullfrog?

What's A or C got to do with health dept? What would either have to do with it being stagnent or clean? I thought every pool had to have a fence to begin with?

I guess the sealed part is the answer I was looking for??? Still not flaming but still feel stupid... Was just too many H-D responses to not question and learn something here.

Well their are different zoning requirements from a Neighborhood and a rural area...in my backyard cows shit daily....if this was in a nneighborhood that would be a biohazard for kids to play in.

Raleigh has their hands full now trying to ban dogs in public parks for this reason. Dog owners aren't happy. Like what kid eats dog poop? Twice anyways??

Ron (everybody), I'm just always on the defense for the common resident. It's part of my day job. I just wanted to hear how the Health Department can do shit about a not so up to date existing swimming pool and how the original thread starter here could be affected? And what could the HD do about it anyways??? Fill it in?? This situation was very intriguing for I deal with HD alot as well. That's the only department besides the fire department that I can look up to for you can't argue health or safety. You wouldn't believe how the fire department is the biggest enemy to today's development... They stepped in recently (last 5-10 years) and doubled the standards of development. Pool restrictions went through the roof as well. Backflow preventers aren't cheap but required now on all pools in certain municipalities. If you have an existing pool and want to upgrade it, I suggest to keep all improvements under the covers! If it's mentioned that the system needs altering in any way, depending on municipality, you will more than likely be forking out well over twice what you expected...

Not arguing here, just trying to help out the pool owners in this thread and prepare for the HD.

I got a throw net from my father. I am going to try and catch him this w/e.

There are now about 2,000 tad poles swimming in the cement pond. I guess after all that croaking he got lucky, lol.

I think the key here is he is renting.
Landlord has to keep a safe environment...some things a H.O. can get away with a landlord can not.
Maybe I'm crazy, I know a tenant got DHEC to make ME fix a leaky pipe under the kitchen sink as it was a "black mold potential contributing souce"...which I would have gladly fixed for the tenant if they would have called me instead of DHEC....oh well repairs required shutting off the water for a total of 10 days counting inspection.

Hahah not in Montgomery County. Any residential district is an "Agricultural" district as well, cows can be shitting just about anywhere!!!

Pool restrictions got even tighter this year. If you are a PUBLIC pool, you must now have a functioning wheelchair lift into the pool...go figure.

When I was a kid a fishing buddy of my fathers had a big, deep concrete pool in his backyard, he was out of town alot and did'nt maintane the pool at all. My dad and other mutual friends dumped a dozen or more Bass we caught in it as a joke while he was out of town. I remember a cookout where they drank beer and we all fished for the Bass, a few were 8+ lbs and you could see them all in the greenish water. I think the joke was that he was a lousy Bassfisherman, but now he could practice in his cement pond :D

them old dudes is hard!! my dad used to coon hunt alot and if the hides werent bringing anything or if the dogs tore it up bad he would put the carcass in his hunting buddies driveway beside the road so it would look like his dogs couldnt even run a coon out of his own yard!!

scared to death!!!!!

About two weeks ago I spent roughly 20 minutes with the throw net trying to catch the bullfrog. It was the larger of the two of my father's throw nets, and I was having trouble getting it to open up good. I'm not much of a fisherman. I never managed to catch him, but I think I scared him off because he left about 1-2 days later.
