Just wondering. I was talking with a friend today about my backlog and how to prioritize so I can get things cleaned out. Here's my list.

1988 GMC C1500 - currently in shop swapping in new Vortec 350 crate motor, HD brakes, and 3/5 drop kit.
2001 Camaro - wrecked, finish stripping and scrap
1998 Trans Am - waiting to swap in coilovers and Moser 9" from 01 Camaro.
1995 Suburban K2500 - finishing interior swap, NV4500 swap, 8.1L swap, paint job. Basically restoring it.
2012 Camaro - wrecked, strip for parts and scrap.
2009 G8 GT - wrecked, stripped for parts and scrap.
2008 G8 GT - new shocks, swap in LS3 from 2012 Camaro and rebuilt transmission from 09 G8.
1956 Pontiac Chieftain - gasser build

I'm sure some guys have longer lists here. What ya got?

Build a shop and all that entails...
Small stuff on my CUCV
Minor stuff on my 99 Silverado
The HD need a new HVAC box, carpet, headliner, and a few other things
Odds and ends on my excavator
Tractor needs some maintenance

It'll never end...but one day I'll get my stuff like I want it.

88 2500 2wd Suburban 454, fitech efi, headers/ full exhaust
89 2500 4x4 Suburban 350, bought for parts but now it runs and is for sale
03/06 3500 duramax, took it down to the frame 2 years ago and just now getting it running..
67 c50, waiting on some fuel related parts to show up to get it driveable

And gotta be out of this house by the end of the month o_O

swap the stroker into the jeep.
finish the closet trim in 2 bedrooms.

I try to never have more then 2 at a time.

(1) Finish the addition on the house
(2) Get the 62 c20 mobile
(3) I'll add a 51 chevy truck to the list if the guy calls me back on Sunday and says the other guy doesn't take it.

Feels like I don't have time for any of them though.....

That was my goal when I shut down the shop. Then I let it snowball again.....

Personal vehicles, the same 3 that have been in queue for the last 4 years that I haven't spent the $1000 or weekend worth of time on. Race shop I'm doing a half dozen different R&D projects. I've found the older I get, the less I actually like wrenching and I much prefer turning the key and going whatever direction I point.

Mine or others?:D:p:lol: OR the wife's:eek:.

1984 Suburban. Already had tons and propane. Need to finish the cut and giggle project. Bobbed, dovetail front and rear with cage
1968 Tempest. Took off front end to clean and paint. Took out motor to clean and paint. Maybe go back with built 500 Cadillac that I’ve had for awhile.
1984 S-10. 454 with tons. Rebuilt transmission. Leak at dip stick and header then maybe somebody will buy it
1947 Willy’s. Yard art. Need to fix aluminum top and place it on some big rocks in front of shop instead of a sign

Oil cooler on my work truck needs rebuilt/replaced
New bed and fuel tanks on said work truck
Ds door pins on same work truck
Trans on Tonyas YJ needs pulled and rebuilt
Drop tank and clean out and install another new pump on my blazer.
That's just what I can think of w/o getting nauseous.

1) S10 has the steering torn down and sent out for hydro assist.
2) Front hubs blown apart for RCV hub gears install.
3) CUCV tons sitting on the floor awaiting a trip to @Jody Treadway place for gears and lockers. Probably 2 separate trips cause I’m not true baller status.
4) Barn only has 2 sides of board and batten installed. 2 sides to go.
5) Wife’s cast iron sink has been sitting on the garage floor for over 3 years. Stainless sink hasn’t removed itself yet.

That’s enough for now... I’m getting depressed.

Find $$$ to fund the projects in my head.
Find 40s model pickup to start restomod.
Find 4BT to drop in 40s model pickup.
Sit in my camp chair in my shop drinking beer just staring at the truck.

I have 14 diff/axle builds lined up
I want to cut the back half of my Ranger off and redo the rear bed area
Just bought a DD xj that needs freshened up
I have a 4.7 stroker to assemble and install in my wife's ZJ
Said ZJ has a DIY rear bumper kit to weld together and install.
Plus I ride Mtn bikes 3 days a week and plan to wheel all fall and winter.
I'm freaking slammed.

Honestly feels like too many to list. Most of them are property/landscaping projects. First up is probably 5 full days worth of tree work due to the hurricane.

The only reason your going to do trim in the closet is because I busted your balls about it!

-Remove wallpaper and paint 3 bathrooms
-Paint trim in office
-paint cabinets in 2 bathrooms
-remove popcorn ceiling
-replace fuel relay in wife’s car
-some landscaping
-wife wants a damn pallet wall
-replace insulation in various places under house
-Shed needs TLC
-trees to cut down
-purchased 2 adjoining lots that both need clearing
-the list goes on.......

Ehhh, I’ll get to it.

Project list:
1. Stop working on stuff long enough to make a list of projects

my 1977 CJ-7, parked in 2008/9, moved to back burner when ECORS started.

my wife's old 1999 XJ, she gave that up in favor of a mini-van. She's on her second van, XJ is still parked with a host of 'minor' issues; rear axle diff bearings sound terrible, death wobbles up front, parked so long the engine won't run right, pulled off the road 2015 or so.

After ECORS fizzled, I dropped the race motor into a project XJ shell I had (decent body, interior, etc). Got the engine swap 80% complete, lost motivation, its still parked in the driveway 2-3 years later.

I've been ignoring my Cummins diesel truck, let the registration lapse late last year; tires are bald, ball joints need to be replaced.

That's just the vehicles, plenty to do (or not) around the house.
