$2K on a front 60 is far far far from 'built'. Thats the 60 itself and wear items to rebuild it.

Your built and my built must be different, cause my built is gears/detroit, 35 spline inner/outter alloys, spicer forged ujoints, lockouts, dedenbears, etc. Try building that for anywhere near 2K. Maybe 400 in/lbs. on stock stubs.

$2k for a rear is reasonable.

including the purchase price and paying for someone to do the mods I think 60k total is completely plausible. And if you think you can build a badass 60 front end for 2grand all that tells me is you have either never built one, or don't have a really badass 60. I have close to 5k in my hp60 front end and it's nothing super bad. I could still drop another 3k on it for CTMs and 300m shafts. I've got close to 3k in my 9" rear. I read through this thread and think it's funny you would devote time and energy to pick apart Doughboy's Rubi (in a round about way) Fact is I think (my opinion cause the IS chit chat) most of the real haters are jealous because this guy is fortunate enough to be able to throw that kind of cabage at it. Who cares , it's his Jeep, no one gets on here and openly hates on some of you peoples JUNK. I've seen his Jeep, although it's nothing I'd want cause it would look like it dropped out of a 747 after spending a few months with me, it is nice for what it is. It has all high dollar stuff on it that he paid someone to put on. I look at my buggy and can't believe it would take over 30k to build it again and that's not including a lot of the labor. I'm embarrassed to say with all the doing and redoing I had in my XJ there was well over 25k spent on it,(I paid $700 for it when I bought it) I parted it and crushed it. Those who have wheeled awhile add up your receipts it might scare the shit out of you.
As for the 60k, I'd finish my buggy and buy another rental property.

Good luck selling you Jeep doughboy, you'll get a thousand pm's here asking about , but good luck finding anyone serious.
 
id pay someone to blow up all the gay rigs on NC and then have a cool ass shop built and me and cperry would have a sweet hangout :flipoff2:

B. Refi the house so I have more money for retirement/daily toys
C. A new garage, boat, and more tools
