Thinking about this more... I did use my hilift jack to lift my girl's playhouse 4' in the air for loading/unloading on the trailer.

I used the hi-lift down on the barn to pick up one of the corner posts. It did all right at first, but once it got some diaphragm action out of the sidewall and had to pick up more of the building, it started shearing off the block I was using as a jack point.
 
If i do go with the forklift. How do I sling the building so as to not destroy it. Forks are only 4-5 feet long. Not quite enough to fork the whole building.

Mine did as well but I ended up screwing a piece of 1/8 plate to the timber where I was jacking. I welded on some stops on 3 sides to keep it from sliding off of the jack as I picked it up on an angle. Dang sure didn't want that hilift kicking out. :D
